5.0 out of 5 stars Buy them!!!
I wear a lot of closed toe casual flats and my other liners always show somewhere aroudn the shoe--even my "low cut" liners. Not to mention, my other liners will eventually slip off my heel. 3.0 out of 5 stars They do the job for the most part.
I purchased these liners after hearing great things about them. I own about 7 pairs. The only bad part is that they show on almost every pair of shoes I wear. But I have come to realize that no sock will be perfect. If the sock is low enough where it doesn't show, then it will fall off your foot. The gummed backing is great if your shoes fit snug. If they don't fit...

Not these babies!!! These liners are cut with just enough fabric to keep them on your feet. And the best part is, they has a silicone rubber patch on the inside of the heel to help it stay on better. Mine haven't slipped off yet! I never see them peeking out of my shoes either :-)

I wear shoe sizes 7-8 and have the liners in the S/M size--perfection!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good liner for ballet shoes, November 2, 2008

I have two pairs of shoes I use with these with, the Ecco Bouillon Ballerina shoe and the Bouillon Mary Jane (both from 2008 line). It works great with both of them, although you can see the liner a little bit (less so with the ballerina shoe). I don't mind it though. The silicon patch on the heel works pretty well to keep these on. I have to adjust it once in a while, but not enough to be annoying. I usually wear a size 8.5 or 9 shoe and the S/M fit me well.

I had also tried a Banana Republic liner, and you could see it much more. It would also slip off my foot with certain shoes. Overall, I think Hue liner works well and is comfortable all day long.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little liners, January 10, 2010

I wear these with my ballet flats and they solve the problem of icky feet and smelly shoes. I just pop them in the washer after wearing and they come out nice and clean. There's a rubberized part on the inside heel to keep them from slipping. I wear a women's size 13 and they even fit me. They're a lifesaver!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but not great, April 26, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased these socks to wear with ballet flats. They definitely serve their purpose and I will continue to wear them on a regular basis. However, they almost always show and require adjustment throughout the day. I wear a size 7 shoe and purchased the Small/Medium size, and they seem like they are just a little too big. The patch at the heal helps keep this sock from slipping off of the heal, but I am concerned with how well it will hold up after a couple of washes. Also the 'Cream' color is more 'Nude' and the 'Tan' color is much darker.

If they don't fit perfectly then the sock will fall off regardless. I will continue to wear them because anything is better than going barefoot. They should offer them in a wider color ranges or you can dye them to match your shoes, so no one can see them sticking out.

They definately fit better than most socks like them. They also stay on way better than the micro liner ones that Hue also carries.

5.0 out of 5 stars great product, November 9, 2007

I bought my first pair in a store. And then after trying them, I ordered more online. They are cut to fit around the foot in a more tailored way. They give the foot more protection than a regular liner but do not feel bulky. They are more durable and will definitely last longer than a typical liner.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great purchase, October 3, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I took the advice of some of the previous comments and ordered one pair to see how they fit. I wear a size 8 shoe and ordered a Small/Medium. When I got the package I noticed the size chart recommended Small/Medium for sizes 4 to 7 (or 35 to 38 for women's European sizes.) I had no problems with my pair; they fit comfortably and I barely noticed them in one of my favorite pairs of ballet flats. Just for reference I try to find shoes that don't show "toe-cleavage", so depending on the cut of your shoe you might see the faintest bit of sock.

3.0 out of 5 stars Runs Big!!!, November 13, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought one pair to try out and was disappointed because they run way too big and stretch out by the end of the day. I ordered the M/L because my feet are a size 9.5/10 and they are too big for me!!! I would try them again in a smaller size if they weren't so pricey for one pair. Also, I have many pairs of flats that show "toe cleavage" and these liners come down too far on the toes for those shoes. It takes a good deal of maintenance and adjusting to keep them from showing in those types of shoes.
