3.0 out of 5 stars Long on principles, short on practical, September 17, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: HVAC Principles and Applications Manual (Hardcover)
I am a contractor in New England and hoped that this book would be useful for designing and installing HVAC systems in luxury single family homes. Although the author is quite good at explaining heat transfer, fluid motion and other engineering principles pertinent to HVAC, there is almost no practical applications help whatsoever.
Good book for a beginner HVAC Engineer, not a good book for a contractor, homeowner, or technitian.
