If you are an HVAC engineer and are looking for a thorough and complete HVAC book, this is a great purchase. Although it may not point out the intricate details of a particular system that you may be looking to design or evaluate, it will guide you in the proper direction. The book is well written and has simple and effective illustrations and diagrams to follow. It covers everything a seasoned HVAC engineer will encounter. A must buy for all HVAC engineers; rookie or senior.

3.0 out of 5 stars Copyright is not 2001!, July 9, 2007
By
This review is from: HVAC Systems Evaluation: Comparing Systems, Solving Problems, Efficiency & Maintenance (Paperback)
I don't know if there is a second edition or second printing of this title, but the book I just received has a copyright of 1990 and not 2001 as listed in the book information on the amazon page. I only just received the book and can't really comment on the content but I would not have paid 50 dollars for a used book that references systems (and costs) from 17 years ago. My initial impression of the book is good except that I am concerned it is dated.
