This thing seems pretty well made - I bought it for my son who was obsessed with my pinewood derby car I had made as a kid. It isn't kid-safe though, so I finally bit the bullet and bought this, which is. Very similar to the pine wood car as another reviewer noted. It looks really cool and rolls well. There is some sort of silicone or rubber lining on the wheels so it's quiet.

Reasons I detracted a star - the gray arced pieces that swoop over the top of the car seem cheap, and I'm wondering how they will hold up. Also - price. I would happily pay $7-9 for this thing. Based on it's simplicity it can't cost more than $2-3 to make, so I just wish I didn't feel gouged. If it dropped I would buy additional ones as gifts.

It's irrelevant to the review I suppose, but my 15-month old, who loves all cars, doesn't seem interested in this one. He is probably teaching me a lesson about overspending on toys.

I got this car for my little guy (now 18 months) and he's been using it regularly for at least 4 months. It rolls really well and has been great for practicing hand eye coordination and "my turn, your turn" play by rolling it back and forth. It would be a lot of fun to have two and be able to race them when he gets older. The big wheels make it easy for a little one to push and the car goes rather than flipping over etc.

My son as played with this car for the last year. It is by far his favorite toy. It is fast and durable and love that it is ecofriendly.

Only works on ultra-smooth flooring, which we don't have. Made of Balsa wood or similar - has chipped with almost no use. Looks cool, probably works well in the right setting, but way overpriced.

This toy is nicely built and is a perfect fit for toddlers' / preschoolers' hands. It is designed really well - both esthetically and functionally. The material coating the outside rim of the wheels is great - it doesn't mark wood floors and it holds up well against dirt and sand outside too. It's not the most exciting toy out there, but if your child doesn't need flashing lights and electronic noises this toy is worth checking out.

I love this car. It's about the size of a Boy Scout Pine Derby racer, if you know what that is. I love the eco construction and cool looks.

BUT, for no apparent reason, our son is not interested in playing with it very much! He loves all kinds of trucks and cars, and I have no idea why that is! I'd still recommend it, though. It rolls great and is nicely made.
