I was VERY disappointed that this toy was made in China. In the product description, it states "The body of each E-Racer is built from one single piece of renewable bamboo and finished in non-toxic, water based paints from Europe." I should have read that sentence more careful to understand that only the PAINT was from Europe, not the product.

Headquartered in Canada, paint from Europe, and assembled in China..

The car itself is definitely cute and fun but I would have Never paid so much for a little wooden car had I known :(

I love this car, and so does my son. So I have bought at least three more as gifts for other kids. Great for little hands to push around. And it's bamboo, which is just cool!

This is such a great find! I was looking for a non-toxic, eco-friendly car for my 8 month old son to play with. This car is made from bamboo and has a non-toxic finish. It is the perfect size, too. He loves to push it back and forth, turn it over and spin the wheels and, of course, use it as a teething toy. We plan to buy the E-plane, too.
