I purchased 2 of these, one for me and one for mother. They are great for getting that that everyday dirt off your floors. I have tile and hardwood floors throughout my house and the stuff that this steamer mop picked up was amazing. It works great on tile. sealed hardwood floors and even on a granite counter top. I was amazed out how nice and how clean feeling it leaves everything. I will be trying them on my shower doors next.

As some reviewers have stated on this same model but different packages there are a few flaws with this model, hence the 4star rating. First after one use the unit does not stand up correctly any more and the cord clips, although nice really don't work and tend to pop out very easily.

After using it there are few things I may suggest, first if you have a lot of flooring that you intend on cleaning, purchase more pads, 2 just won't cut it. Also, please note make sure you vacuum or dry dust you floors first, this will cut down on how fast you have to change the pads. The first time you use the steamer you will go through several pads rather quickly, this is due to the steamer cleaning your floor like it has never been cleaned before. Once the pads starts streaking I have found that it is due the pad being oversaturated and full of dirt, just change the pad and off you go again. I found that this will happen the most when you first use the unit. After several uses I have notice that the floors have gotten easier to clean and the pads last much longer.

Awesome, love it!! Which is high praise coming from an old Italian woman, or should I say from a more mature Italian woman, who is used to getting on her hands and knees to clean her floors. :-)

UPDATE: 9/20/2009

Finally used them on my shower doors and OMG they came out like new!! Clean shower doors with no chemicals and no smell. :-)

Also, have to order another one for my mother, she needs it for her 2nd home in FL. She's sold on it, she called me one day and said she spent 5 hrs cleaning with it. She was in heaven!!! (She has lots of tile and hardwoods and granite in her homes)

I really like this steam mop. The no fuss, easy way to attach and remove the pads is a plus. I've used other steam mops that are a struggle to fit the terry pad over the bottom and tie. I was pleased with the results. Every four or so times of mopping, I will probably do a more detailed scrubbing. But it is a very quick way to clean your floors if you just have an average amount of traffic.

While I do think this is easier than the old way I used to mop, I have to say my floor doesn't look as clean. Mostly because the cloths do not do one single thing about the hair or little things like tiny pieces of paper or specks of mulch. They all just get moved around at the front of the mop until you back off and then all the hair and "scrap" gets left in piles on the baseboards or floor. So basically you have to sweep before AND after you use the machine. Kinda sucks, well, not kinda, it sucks real bad. Bummer.
