I have allergies. I also love to clean(Don't ask) It took me awhile to warm up to a steam mop. But I was surprised. I mopped the night before and then the next morning I used my new steam mop. I was amazed how much more grime I got up. Plus you can wash the pads. My swiffer had those throw away pads. Which I hated because I hate contributing to too much trash. No chemicals which is great for my allergies. Plus just knowing hot steam is hitting my floor makes me know more germs and grime have been knocked out. I really like it. My husband even thinks the floors feel different. I also think it makes cleaning more fun. Only complaint is the cord should be longer.

We have Pergo floors which we LOVE, but have found it hard to keep them clean using no chemicals. This HAAN FS30 is SO easy. Just add water, turn it on, wait a few minutes for the water to heat up, then clean those floors FAST. With all the kids and pets coming through our house, this floor sanitizer is FANTASTIC!!! It does include TWO of the washable microfiber pads, I bought extras that I will be returning.

I got this yesterday and I love it! I did the hardwood floors (cherry), kitchen tile and bathroom tile (travertine). It looks amazing! The floors are clean and shiny. When I walk barefoot on them - ahhhhh - wonderfully clean. It is so easy to use, plug it in, wait about 3 minutes and then it is ready to go! It dries within seconds so there is no water to wipe up afterwards. So happy with this purchase. Even happier with how fast I can do all of the floors, literally in less than half of the normal time. All smiles here!

This is my third steam mop/cleaner in less than a year. I started with the Bissel, which simply didn't get hot enough to do any good, and moved on to the Eureka Envirosteamer, which seemed to work great, until it died after less than six months of use. After waiting about a month for a promised replacement from Eureka (I'm still waiting) I crumbled and purchased the Haan.

Well, so far, so good. It's built very similar to the Eureka, but seems to have a few distinct design advantages. Out of the box it assembled in a snap. I had it up and running in less than 15 minutes with no tools required. Very nice.

The velcro-on microfiber pads are sturdy and easy to put on--much thicker and easier to use than either of the other steamers we've had which essentially just used dishcloth-like material as the barrier between mop and floor. Since we have natural stone floors (slate, which can be a bit rough), these seem like they will hold up MUCH better, and also are larger and appear more durable. I could do my whole house with one cloth, without leaving streaks, unlike the Eureka clothes, which I had to change once or twice per cleaning session.

The Haan produced gobs of visible steam, quite quickly, and left my floors far less wet, and just as clean feeling, as the Envirosteamer. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver and easier to fill with its enclosed pour cup (the Eureka needed a funnel), though it holds less water overall, which is a bit of a bummer. There's about a 5 minute wait in between fillings before the unit once again begins producing steam. Also the protection pad for the Haan is just a foam which warped the first time I used it, unlike the sturdier tray unit that came with the Eureka.

All in all, I'm very happy with the early performance of this steamer. Let's just hope it holds up over the long term. (I'll be sure to return and report if it doesn't.)

I'm totally sold on steam cleaning as the best way to clean and care for stone floors, I just hope I've finally found a unit that will last longer than a few months.

Our hardwood floors have never looked so good. I was so tired of the floors being "cleaned" with a Swif*er mop, only to have the bottoms of be blackened the next day. Those days are gone. We've been using the Haan FS-30 steamer for a few weeks now, and we couldn't be happier with it. Fill the steamer up with water, let it sit for a few minutes on the rubber mat until steam starts to rise, and away we go. I do end up having to refill midway through the first floor, but it's hardly a chore. Pro-tip: Be sure to power off the steamer before opening the reservoir! I'm sure this was explained in the users manual, but you know how that goes.

The first time we used it to clean the first floor of the house was only a two days after the floors were "cleaned" using the Swif*er. I was shocked at how much dirt was picked up by the Haan. I've used it once a week since then, and the Haan pad isn't nearly as dirty after each cleaning, which tells me it's really doing it's job.

My only gripe is the length of the power cord. A longer, retractable cord would work wonders for me.

Overall we LOVE the Haan. No more are we buying expensive proprietary refill cartridges of cleaner. No more are we wasting disposable pads. No more dirty socks!

Works great on tile floors. Lightweight, easy to use, ergonomically designed. Unit heats quickly. Floors dry quickly after steam cleaning.

When I opened the amazon.com box, I was a bit surprised (disappointed?) at how small the floor cleaner was.

OMG! What a great product!!! Two cups of water later and my tiled kitchen floor looks brand new and STREAK-FREE! I moved on to my hardwoods and have not had them this clean in a long time. I did not have to get on my hands/knees to clean and that was worth every dollar! No trips to the sink to rinse a mop, and it seemed to be EFFORTLESS! My arms/back do not hurt like they do with a traditional mop. The floors dried very quickly and evenly and the unit produces ALOT of steam.

I read many reviews on amazon.com and settled on this Haan product. It is well worth the price and after using it, I think I would have paid much more. I have two kids and three animals running around my house and joke that I only clean my floors when my socks stick to them.

This actually makes cleaning the floors FUN & very REWARDING! I would highly recommend this great steam cleaner! Now if I could only convince my dog that it's NOT a vacuum and get her to stop chasing it and barking at it!!! :)

I have wood floors and pets so needed a way to clean and sanitize without too much water left on wood . This worked and so far happy with it. Easy to set up and use.

You know I was a little skeptical about spending a $100 on a glorified steam swifer sweeper. You know what is worth every penny of the $80 something I paid for it. I am a man who is not a green freak by any stretch of the imagination but a clean freak I am. My wife thinks I get a little obsessive and perhaps I do but the Haan FS-30 even satisified me. With over 1,000ft of recently installed Toklo laminate floors (by me) I was concerned about mopping with two much water or harsh chemical that could delaminate or cause warping. The Haan is awsome it gets very hot produces the right amount of steam after the first go round (which is a little wet) use it two or three times to get the hang of it. You can move at a even steady pace and within a few minutes even in winter weather with the thermostat set to 65 degrees the floors are completly dry and squeeky clean. Even the most stubborn of spots are quickly rememdied by simple leaving the steamer on the spot for a few more seconds. I highly recommend this product and hope you enjoy as I did. Ps. The handle grip is made of plastic but the handle extension is extremely sturdy being made of aluminum. The weight of the steamer sits on the floor and is not for the elderly or weak as it takes a little bit to move the couple pounds that is sitting on the floor. Enjoy!

What a neat machine,did a lot of research before purchasing, come from the old school, used a mop and bucket for years. Two of my children have purchased "Haan" raved about them, finally after one day tipped my old bucket full of dirty water onto my floor, that was it ! out went the bucket and mop and I was ordering a "Haan" now my floors have never looked so clean.
