This one is about a couple (Karisma Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan) who marry. She is a jealous type and women seem to throw themselves at him. He does manage to get himself in compromising situations then one night he crosses the sexual line with a woman and Karisma divorces him. In the second half of the movie she becomes secretary to charismatic film star (Akshay Kumar). He falls for her and proposes marriage. Ex-husband comes on the scene - now what...?
I found the first half of the movie uninspiring. Karisma seemed to be lurking with tragic looks and Abhishek seemed withdrawn and hard to engage with. I thought things lit up when Akshay came on and felt drawn to his warm and just character. Without giving the movie away he ends up sad just near the end so your feelings sag with him and his friends. It isn't the outcome I would have gone for.
How you receive this may also depend on how you view infidelity and divorce. They raise the question of should you stick with the marriage vows and forgive? Is it OK to divorce over that? etc
Whatever I think on that question I just found it a boring first half and disappointing resolution of the second half. Akshay was the only saving feature -and he didn't save it enough for me as I didn't find it a keeper. The music was also unmemorable and the dances not a feature.Elsewhere on the Net it generally seems to rate below average.

If you like Romantic Bollywood movies, then you will love this one! I watch them on my treadmill, so I can read the subtitles with no distractions. The costumes, the storyline, the scenery , the whole movie in general will capture you and keep you to the end! The best part about these movies is there are no bad words, no graphic scenes. Just pure and simple emotional romance!

The rating is for the defective product. The seller refunded my money promptly, and asssured me that he could exchange if he new the DVD was ok.
