I love this steamer. It's easy to use and I feel it gets my floors really clean. I love the light weight and you can refill the water fairly quickly after it runs out. Extremely pleased with my purchase.

I bought the short handle attachment with my Haan steam mop. If you're going to use the Haan to sanitize upholstry, mattresses, or countertops, this short handle is necessary. I think it should have been included with the steam mop purchase, instead of available as an accessory, as it is necessary for the full use of the mop. The short handle is easy to attach and it makes the Haan into a small unit for cleaning and sanitizing surfaces other than floors. The short handle is something you want to get full useage from your Haan steam mop.

What a job this does cleaning my floors! I use it for ceramic tile, hardwood, and for vinyl. The white vinyl floor in my kitchen really allows this product to show what it can do.

I used to do this floor only by hand, because it didn't look really clean using a mop or any other manual appliance. I had better luck once I started using the Swifter, but I was concerned about the expensive, strong-smelling chemical I was using, and about the disposable pads. Then I tried my sister's new Shark steam floor cleaner. It was fine, but did not deep clean. As I recall, it had only one steam jet! I noticed a lot of pull (surface resistance) when using it, so the job took a long time. And then came the Haan. What a wonder! It produces a lot of steam and really gets that old, cheap vinyl floor clean. It came with two wonderful pads, and I ordered more just to be sure I could do the floors in my whole house in one day. (Fat chance of my ever doing that!) The pads are cleaned well in my washing machine. I am so pleased I bought this brand because it really does the job! No more stinky, expensive chemical needed. Very smart purchase!

The short handle definitely makes it easier to steam beds, sofas, and chairs. I'm glad I purchased it with the steamer.

Every household that has floors that need to be mopped should own a Haan steam cleaner and the short handle makes cleaning showers a breeze.

I already had the Haan steam mop but could not purchase the handle separately thru the Haan website or anywhere else. This was a great price with really quick shipping.

I bought this in hopes of cleaning the carpet. NO work!
Does great on the floors for cleaning. I use it every other day for floor traffic, does great on grout. Just don't expect anything when it comes to carpet.

What I didn't realize before I bought this handle was that when you lifted the Haan to clean your shower doors and walls, all of the water would come spilling out of the unit. I wasted my money on this handle since I bought it specifically for the purpose of helping with tiled walls and shower doors.

Haan steam cleaner expensive; get something else u'll be better off.

first, buy a lightweight smaller type that can get behind and around your toilet or small places on counters etc. the head is so big it is not versatile & therefore i really can only do floors and a mattress. there are other types out there that have removable heads that are small so u can really clean anything. & my major need is in the bathroom & that's where i cannot get to the small places. i hate doing the bathroom floor & then it's not all clean to i still have to get another mop to do around the toilet! ugh!

second, the actual long handle on the cleaner has a telescoping pole is awfully cheap. when extended it helps itself to become short again. while being pushed the pole gets shorter and shorter until i'm half way hunched over steaming the floor! talk about a back ache. so i extend it again and with just a push or two it is shortens a notch & then another push another notch again and again. i've got to send this back. definitely not worth the expensive price.

third, the water doesn't last very long, but that's fine. it can do one floor for the amount that is in the reservoir. (& it does take up to 5 minutes to heat up even when i start with hot water going in.) but the real problem is that you have to wait FOREVER to put more water in to continue when your out. you cannot open it until the heat has dissipated so it takes a long time which is annoying.

finally, i have the small attachment handle too & it works for what it is advertised for, however...pretty easy to steam clean a mattress but is a bit heavy. for other things? clothes, NO. would be really difficult, this was not made to be versatile. kinda a disappointment :(

The attachment is wonderful -- does the job well. However, I will never buy another thing from Amazon in light of its initial refusal to pull and defense of putting an objectional book for sale encouraging the exploitation of children. There are other sites to purchase products, and I am finding, these sites are more reasonably priced.
