My kids love these toys, and they last forever... I'm planning on keeping all of my haba toys as heirlooms, because they are such amazing quality I want to pass them down to my grandkids, unlike all the other plastic junk out there... LOVE THEM!

This is not our sons favorite toy, however it is the best toy for on the go. It's very sturdy, compact, and entertaining. The age he enjoyed it the most was from 12mo - 14mo. But I still keep it in the diaper bag for emergency mall entertainment purposes, and it sill keeps him entertained (16 months). Good buy.

I love the Haba toys. Flapsi is especially cute and well-made. My son is 9 weeks old and is stating to grab at it. It makes a very satisfying clanking noise when shaken. This will be a great toy for him for a few months. Also no need to worry about chemicals in plastics or paints, as it's made of wood and is painted with water-based laquer.

Flapsi makes a great clicking noise that is perfect for getting a little one's attention. At this point, my son loves putting either the head or round "tail" in his mouth. Great quality, and completely unique!

THIS TOY IS A WONDERFUL ALTERNATIVE TO TOXIC CHEAPLY MADE PLASTIC TOYS. IT IS COMFORTING ESPECIALLY DURING TEETHING TO KNOW THAT OUR CHILD IS NOT CHEWING ON SOMETHING THAT CAN MAKE HIM POSSIBLY ILL. THE HABA SMALL TOY LINE IS REASONABLY PRICED AS WELL. FLAPSI MAKES A SMALL RATTLING NOISE WHEN SHAKEN AS THE WOOD PIECES HIT TOGETHER. OUR SON LIKES THE BRIGHT COLORS!!

One of my baby girl's favorite toys and as such spends a lot of time in her mouth. Since introducing it to her at 3 months it has been part of our toy cycle for the last 5 months. I was disappointed to pick it up the other day to find that the eyes and the smile on Flapsi had completely vanished. The paint presumably ingested by my baby. Lets hope it is as harmless as the manufacturer claims. Had hoped to pass it on to future babies. Still fun without a face, though not nearly as charming.

I recently purchased 4 small Haba toys for my 9 month old and Flapsi is my son's second favorite. He likes to flap it around, he explores the different parts and chews on the head and tail. He does spend more time with Haba's Trix toy though. Possibly it is easier to hold while crawling around the house? He does not play very long with Haba's Triangle or Ballino, but I am hoping he will at some point. Of course every child is different, but I can only speak for mine.

Funny that my sister in law wrote the review earlier for our then 5 month old! Yes, it's small, but it keeps our son's attention! He passes it between his hands and has to figure out the best grip to get the nice "flapsi" clapping sound. It's a great toy for any baby who is in the stage of shaking objects. If he drops it it doesn't roll away too far to get frustrating, either. From 5-7 months old, this has been a definite favorite :D We do keep it hidden from our father-in-law who thinks this toy could be a choking hazard. A strong elastic though the center holds the pieces together (like many of the Haba toys). I truly don't think it could ever come apart with his use so I am not concerned.

My son recieved this as a gift when he was about 4 months old and he still loves it, he is now 12 months. it is a great toy to have in the car, it is small enough to pop into the diaper bag and fit next to him in his stroller also. He likes the noise it makes (clicks and knocks together) he also likes putting the head into his mouth and "popping" it out. A great toy

I purchased this toy for my nephew who is 5 months old. It is very well made and brightly colored. The only gripe I have is that the toy is much smaller than I originally thought. It is no bigger than the palm of my hand. I thought it would be bigger than that. After finding that it was smaller than I expected I questioned the price, but the quality is excellent so I am happy with it. These make better stocking stuffers for Christmas than an actual "big gift" for a child.
