You get a single onion and it looks exactly like the picture. It is very small so this is not for children who put everything in their mouth. If your child is past this stage these are great. The small size makes them easy to store and add several to a toy pan. Wonderful brand ours get hit on the pan and sliced with toy knives and they still look new. Excellent toy!
