Very simply it is a pretty as it's picture. The bells on it have a lovely sound and no matter how much my daughter plays with them they don't get annoying.

Really my only complaint is that it does not come with a wall anchor or instructions on what to use to safely put it in the ceiling (as it does have long strings that you wouldn't want this to fall in your baby's crib).

For us I bought it for my 3 1/2 year old since she was jealous of her baby brother's mobile so it wasn't that big of a deal but that's why it's 4 stars instead of 5- for the price you pay you shouldn't have to figure out the anchor business yourself and have to go drive to the store for it (defeating the purpose of buying online in the first place).

While that may sound like a lot of complaints I still really love it and it's great for my toddler and I probably would buy it again.

Our 3 & 1/2 month old baby girl loves this mobile, which was surprising because I thought it might not be big enough for her to see well from the bed (I hung it from a cup hook in the ceiling). She smiles and coos and talks to it when she looks up at it. It also gets the occasional squeal and kick, although not as much as her other mobile above the changing table, the Haba Sunshine mobile. I was actually obsessed with getting this mobile for a while, b/c it is just so absolutely adorable (the colors are so vibrant and sweet), but what matters most is that the baby loves it. It's a great help because she has acid reflux and needs to stay at an incline for a little while after each feeding to prevent spit-ups. Before this mobile, all she had to look at was the ceiling. Now she's entertained and doesn't fuss as much about having to lay down for a while each time. Love it and would recommend it!

The mobile is beautiful. Two bells that tinkle - we had to put tape on them when she was in our room but now it's in her room (as is she) and she LOVES the bells.

two things:

-does not come with any hanging equipment - just a knot at the top.

-not designed from the baby's angle. She still loves it - but looking at it from the bottom, there is none of the contrasting colors or embroidery that you see from the adult angle. They could have at least put some design on the main piece - but it's just plain blue underneath.

We've hung it above her changing table and we ring the bells as we change her, keeps her 100% entertained.

I hafta to say HABA is the BEST TOY COMPANY EVER! Their customer service goes above and beyond. I bought my daughter the "Sunshine Mobile" last August before she was born and recently the green string snapped :( , this has been her favorite thing in her room since she was born. Well I emailed Haba and they were out of stock of the mobile but asked me if I wanted to replace it with different one, I really wanted the same one so I said I would wait until they had them back in stock. Well less than 2 weeks go by I get an email saying they shipped a new one and I received it today *3 days later* I opened up the package to find a cute rattle and a new mobile!!! They really do go above and beyond for customer service and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying toys from them.

Also the quality of the toys are great! They are meant to last (the wooden ones), I always give them as gifts to my friends.

More important than the fact that I like this mobile, is that my 3 month old son likes it. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find hanging mobiles. Toys R Us and similar US stores primarily have large, plastic, side-clamped, electronic mobiles. We have a European crib (Stokke) and oversized, plastic mobiles didn't attach well and detracted from the design of the crib.

This mobile is delicate and colorful. The soft chime of the bell is pleasant, and never becomes annoying. The design captures baby's attention. It is fairly easy to attach to a Stokke canopy rod.

The mobile is well made and the packaging is excellent.

I feel it was worth the price and would buy other Solemio products in the future.
