I have twin boys with sensory intergartion disorder and we have been looking for a swing to use inside.We wanted one that would be durable, safe and fun . This haba swing was even better than we expected!!! they just love it!! I would buy this swing again in a heart beat. One thing that is so nice is its big enough and durable for them to ride in it together, I dont have to fight with turn taking. I just put them both in and they laugh and play . For parents who need something inside this winter for their kids to play and get out energy this swing is more than worth the price. I would recomend this swing to everyone!!!

We bought this swing 4 years ago and our autistic son has been in it at least once a day since we've had it. If he is out of sorts and needs to calm down....this is where he wants to be. It is the best toy we have ever owned. It is durable, washable and hold upto 175 lbs. My son is 10 and he has a few more years left before he out grows it. You will not be disappointed...if you have a child on the autism spectrum, it's a blessing!!!

This is a big purchase, but worth every penny. Have your relatives and friends chip in for a big gift! This is easily big enough for 2 or 3 small children (weight limit 170 pounds) easy to install, really sturdy and well made, and so great for typical kids and I think a must have for special needs kids (particularly Autism, attention deficit/hyperactivity, or sensory processing). My son needs a lot of physical stimulation, and this gets his energy out, lets him spin and get dizzy, or just rock slowly in it to calm down. We are getting an earlier bedtime with this, we put both kids in, push them while reading a book, and they both drift off to sleep, snuggled up together, and we transfer them to their beds. Our daughter, who is typical and very athletic, is doing all kinds of stunts on this (at 20 months) but since we installed it only about a foot off the floor, we feel pretty safe with it. We have let other kids we know use it, and it is great for both active play and calming down when upset or too wound up. We tried out a cheaper swing first (much cheaper, $30) that was poorly made (in China) smelled like toxic chemicals, and started falling apart in the first two days, plus it was unsafe (strangling hazard at first glance). This Haba swing came with great instructions for safety, and is very easy to put up (you can get the ceiling hardware at any home store). We had it up an hour after it came in the mail. Get this item for any kid (we live in a wet, cold climate and now have an indoor playground!) and if you have a special needs or autistic kid in your life, you NEED this swing!

Love this swing it's well made, safe and great fun. Better than I thought it would be and big enough for 2 kids.
This swing will last for years and its great for the winter when kids can't get outside. My son loves this! Money well spent.
