After much deliberation and reading reviews, we decided on this walker for our grandson because of the durability and darling "toy factor". The only thing missing is the friction brake(s) on the wheels and my brilliant husband remedied that problem by wrapping yarn around the inside of each wheel 'til the wagon moves the speed we want (cut the yarn off, or unwrap/rewrap to adjust, when baby is ready for a faster push)! So far, our nearly 9 mo old is sitting on the seat, playing with the toys and pulling himself to a standing position on this sturdy wagon (doesn't fall over and he's a BIG boy at 23 lbs). We're confident he'll be pushing it around the house in a few weeks - promises years of fun! Thanks to the other reviewers, we feel we made a quality choice!

I read reviews of all of the walkers I could find and ended up splurging on this one. Although it was expensive, I am so happy with the purchase. I got this for my son when he was 8 months old and he loved it from day one. At the time, he wasn't walking, but he entertained himself easily with all of the toys attached to the walker. He now uses it to pull himself up and walk all around the house(he is now nine months old and not quite walking on his own). I'm confident that this has helped him walk faster than if he didn't have it. He also still really enjoys playing with the toys attached to the walker. It doesn't tip over (unless he tries to pull himself up on the side rather than the front or back), and he can easily push it around on the carpet or hardwood floors. He has slammed it into walls and furniture and it hasn't left any marks yet. It was definitely worth the extra money, as this might be the highest quality toy my son owns. I couldn't be happier.

An outstanding toy! With all the warnings against baby walkers I wanted to be certain this would cause no developmental delays or safety issues. The HABA Discovery push wagon is ideal because your child can walk or crawl freely while pushing the wagon and is not forced to assume any particular posture that would harm their development. The wagon itself is very sturdy, birch plywood painted with non-toxic dyes, well weighted at 12 lbs. and not prone to tipping. Sometimes my daughter will ride it "chariot style" standing backwards in the seat while being pushed. I realize this is not recommended but we are very careful. At first she could not see over the seat back while pushing and she didn't know where she was going but she soon grew out of this. She was content to push the wagon from behind while crawling. For added interest Haba has adorned the wagon with numerous activities and engaging colors. We noticed a dimming and scratching on the mirror that was actually a piece of clear plastic stuck on to protect the mirror. We pulled it off and the non-glass mirror was nice and shiny. We were considering the Haba Wagon with the blue seat but read the reviews that it left blue marks on the walls. The design of the Haba Discovery wagon is nearly perfect except for the trade off on visibility with the higher seat back. It is a lovely toy, durable, non-toxic and finely crafted.

It really is worth the (ton of) money! We gave this to our son around 7 months and he liked it. Now at 11 months he loves it!

One complaint and one caution -- there is a knob to put pressure on the wheel so that it turns more slowly. Great idea, but our literally snapped off within 5 minutes of taking this out of the package. Every other aspect continued to work so we didn't return it over that (we did need to file down the plastic knob that snapped because it was sharp). The caution -- our son likes to stand on the seat and lean over the back -- he toppled over once so now this is a carpet only toy until he has more control.

The complaint and caution aside, we really like this. It's nicely made and interesting for our son.

We purchased this wagon for my 9.5month old son. He is crawling and can walk with help so I thought he would benefit from a push toy. I did some research on amazon for highly rated toys and this one was one of them. One of the other important things for me is a toy that is eco-friendly and non toxic and HABA is well known for this. Clearly, this is a very expensive toy. But it really was worth every penny. There are so many things to play with on the toy. it is well built and has good weight behind it. Besides walking behind it, he tends to stand up on the seat and ride it like a segue, he also bounces and shakes. Probably not the intended use! But it's so sturdy that he is able to maintain control of it. He also loves the little mouse that came with it. I've lost count at how many times we've said how great this toy is and how it was worth the money. it's just so cute!

This was all we gave my little girl for Christmas. She LOVES it. She was 8 months old at the time, so it was still a bit "old" for her, but she loved to play with the car and the mouse. She would also pull up and chew on the handle. Now that she's working on walking more, she walks with it. It's perfect- very steady. She also LOVES the mirror. She sits in the seat and smiles at herself. Couldn't recommend this more.

My 8 month old son loves this walker! Beautiful, durable, and fun. Every morning he goes strait for it. He has been pulling to stand since 7 months and in over a month of using this walker it has never fallen over (he is over 20 pounds). He stands on the seat, plays with the toys, talks to himself in the mirror, chews on the red handle ends, and generally gets all over the thing and after over a month of use is still fascinated by it. The best toy in our home. I can't wait until he actually starts pushing it as a walker (I still have the breaks on as I am not sure if he is ready to walk with it, although he does cruise well I am not sure he is ready for something that actually moves with him.) 10 plastic toys would cost just as much, but he would get far less use out of them. I would pay 500 dollars+ for this toy as it is an all in one entertainer around here. I plan on buying more Haba products after my experience with this one. Can't recommend it enough.
