Bear in ring is a beautiful, well made toy. The ring is very smooth wood. The detail on the bear is textured. European standards are very high, so I trust that this toy is safe.

Beautiful safe eye catching infant toy. The bear spins if it is in the very center of the ring. Not made in China. Colors are from Lacquer, not paint. Made of Beechwood.

My 5 month old baby loves this little toy. I like that it is made with non-toxic paints and hard wood. It is such a cute little toy and easy to clutch for chubby little fingers. This is a great addition to our baby's haba toy collection.

I'll be honest, I bought this toy for the "classic wooden toy" look. It definitely fits the bill, but is also a favorite baby toy for my 7 month old. I was surprised that he liked it so much. We always keep this one in the diaper bag. Most surprisingly, this is his favorite TEETHING toy! I would have thought that the squishy, plastic teethers would feel better, but he LOVES to chomp on this when his teeth seem to be hurting.

I also love that it is on the smaller side and very convenient to throw in the diaper bag or carseat without taking up too much space. I will definitely buy more Haba toys!

This is realy cute but my Grandson doesn't care too much about it. He'll pick it up for a minute, look at it, then throw it down, and won't play with it the rest of the day. He's 9 months old now maybe when he gets alittle older he may like it...... He's 10 months old now and I see that he plays with it alot more.

....so sturdy and simple. Great for little hands. I purchased this for my 5 month old niece. It's perfect for her little hands, offers a splash of color, and a safe toy to chew on. You can tell just by holding it that it's extremely durable.

Do teething ring have an educational value? If they do - then I guess it's 5 stars. Very nice teether but the baby wasn't interested in it until she was 9 months. Now she plays with the little bear and chews on it to relieve teething pain.

Once again Haba surprises me! I bought this toy for my 7mo old baby girl...and she loves it...the catch - my 2.5 year old also loves it. The bear spins around entertaining both of them. Its easy to toss in the diaper bag...the wood ring is solid & beautifully finished that I don't have to worry about paint chipping & toxic lead levels like toys made in China. Easy to wipe clean...and durable...did I say durable? WOW...this toy is fantastic. I highly recommend this & all haba toys to everyone especially those with little teethers!

i got this for my 1 year old, but she would have liked it sooner too. very graspable, fun to play with (what a great idea!), and with all that chewing still shows zero signs of wear. safe and non toxic, the perfect toy. very portable too!

Our 9th month daughter really "gets" this toy now and loves to use her fine motor skills to spin the bear in the ring. It is cute, well-made and will be a favorite for months to come.
