My son has been chewing on this since he was 4 months old and he is now one and still chews on it as well as uses it as a rattle. I like the fact that he is not chewing on plastic. The paint is non-toxic and does not come off.

The toy is also made from wood which is renewable vs. plastic which is a petroleum based product.

The product is heirloom quality as all Haba products are.

We received this as a gift when our son was 4.5 months old, and thought it seemed just OK. However, our little boy loves this ring for chewing, shaking so that the blue rings make noise, pulling on with both hands, hitting the floor or other toys to make noise. It is non-toxic, sturdy, colorful without being obnoxious, and is simple yet thoughtfully conceived. Excellent toy for our 4.5 month old and still excellent at 8 months.

This is one of my 4-month-old daughter's favorite toys. It gives me peace of mind to know that it's complete safe and made of non-toxic materials, unlike many plastic toys. It's colorful, easy for her to grasp, and makes noise. Simple, but perfect!
