Haba Triangle Wooden Clutching Toy

Scared of all the 'bad' toys out there we recently discovered Haba. We bought 4 different Haba toys for my 7 month old and she loves them all. These triangles make a wonderful wood clanky noise that sounds very soothing. No batteries, no plastics, safe for her to 'munch' on. These feel so nice in the palm of my hand, they are brightly colored yet the wood grain still shows thru. My daughter is thrilled with these, very excitedly shaking them and gumming them. I had no idea who Haba was and now that I do I'm never going back!

I bought this toy for my 6 month old daughter. It is a great product she loves the colors and the noises she can make when she shakes it. I am just so glad I could find a toy not made in China. I did hear a rumor that some toys that are marked "made in Germany" can be products that were actually in China. I am just going to trust that they weren't.

My 3-month-old was given this for Christmas and I wasn't sure what to make of it. Well, he LOVES it! And this is why: It is the only toy that he has that is easy to hold (the triangles keep his hands in the toy), and he can put it in his mouth to soothe and he shakes it around. It is the only toy that when he drops it and can't find it, he fusses.

My little 4 months old girl is hard to please. She gets quickly bored or very angry at toys (when she can't push them into her mouth). I wanted to give it a try and ordered several of the Haba wooden toys(even though they are recommended 6m+). All of them are of very good quality, however at this age she likes only two of them. 1.) this Triangle she loves, 2.) and the Kringelring she likes. The Triangle is simple but still complex,maneuverable enough to "work it", not just simply hold . It is nice and small, so can fit in small baby hands and mouth.
The other toys like the Flapsi, Trix, Moby clutching toy she will enjoy more probably in few weeks/months.

Update: Being pleased with Haba I now ordered the Magica toy from them. This is absolutely great! I would say that even better than the Triangle. So for younger baby I would recommend mainly the Triangle and Magica.

Obviously every child is different, but unfortunately my 9 month old does not spend much time with this toy. Possibly he would have liked it when he was younger. I recently bought 4 Haba toys and he really enjoys Trix and Flapsi. He was not very impressed with Ballino after the first day. Hopefully he will go through a stage when they are more interesting. I am still very happy with Haba products. My son does have 6 teeth and so far the paint is not wearing off, but I will post an update if it does.

I got one of these when my twins were about 4 months old. After a couple weeks, I caved and bought a second, because they were constantly fighting over it. At 7 months, it is still their all-time favorite toy. They never get tired of it!

I try to buy wooden/European made toys for my baby to avoid all the toxic junk out there. This one had good reviews, so I bought it. My teething 6 month old immediately started chewing on it, and next thing I knew, her month was full of blue paint. Yes, I know the paint is supposed to be non-toxic, but what kind of quality is it, anyway? This is something I would expect from cheap Chinese-made junk, not from expensive toys made by a supposedly reputable German company. I had the same problem with Haba's Kringelring. Anyway, I am done with Haba and switching to Selecta (never once had a problem with their toys).

i would HIGHLY recommend this toy...even as part of a baby shower gift. I bought this for my son when he was 6 WEEKS old, (now 10 weeks) and it is still one of his FAVORITE FAVORITE toys to play with. as one other reviewer mentioned...its perfect size for a little one to grasp in their hands...it truly is! it's a very simple toy and that's all you need to hold the attention of little one. get this little toy, you definitely wont regret it!

I was looking for a toy that a four month old would be able to use. didn't see anything in the stores, so I was happy to find this on amazon. Our 4 month old grandson was fascinated by this brightly colored toy. He was able to hold onto it and pass it from hand to hand, chew on it. He really seemed to enjoy it until his 2 year old sister took it away from him.

We have had this around for several weeks but once my 4 month old began teething, it became an instant hit for her! She cannot get enough of it and seems to never bore of it, though she is easily bored by other toys.
