Addressing the needs of managers, researchers, ecologists, and students, Habitat Management for Wintering and Migrating Waterfowl in North America presents the first comprehensive overview of management strategies for nonbreeding waterfowl throughout North America. Each contribution comprises incisive review, previously unpublished reports, and heretofore undocumented strategies for habitat management. Twenty chapters focus on the ecology and management of key habitats along the four North American flyways. The concluding chapter is devoted to biopolitical strategies for ensuring the preservation of waterfowl habitat.

Very technical but a great book. I reviewed it online beforehand and determined that it was probably a bit more than I needed but I would rather have too much information than not enough. I purchased it for the wildlife duck pond I built - it has tons of information, more than I really need and some of it is quite detailed and over my head but I am defintely pleased with this purchase.
