5.0 out of 5 stars Hysterical and Spot-on April 16, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
James Altucher is like a line of coke without the horrible withdrawals that threaten sanity. He is a must-read for any misfit and this book does its job: it entertains while it educates how we (people on the edge) can maneuver in business and life without losing our minds. My favorite part of the book that I could really relate to is James' observation of himself when he first meets people. He confesses that he hates everyone upon first meeting. This is my situation too, so his advice on ignoring first impressions was very valuable to me.

2.0 out of 5 stars More of a short article August 5, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Content was funny and interesting, but I was expecting a longer work. What I got (for $2.99) was a tiny article not long enough to occupy my 30 minute bus ride home. You can do much better for a paid ebook.

3.0 out of 5 stars Is a very short book, better buy other books from him September 26, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
When I bought this I thought it would be a long book like others from James.

The book is good but you can find this information on his blog or on other of his books: Choose Yourself.

I bought Choose Yourself the same day and got a little bit disappointed when I found that this book was included in the newest book, so better save your money and buy Choose Yourself.

It's quick, it's direct, and it's brutally honest.

Take the humble approach, be open to yourself, and you can't go wrong

5.0 out of 5 stars positive qualities to get you going in life March 23, 2015

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I love the unique ideas from Altucher, some of the mediocre qualities may at first be considered bad. But he quickly makes you realize the beneficial aspects of those qualities, sometimes in life we need to take a breath of air and analyze our movements. We get sucked into societies lies. The only way to freedom is by opening your eyes. This book helps you make it happen.
