Book Description

September 2007
Joel ZuckermanMost of us golf without much ability without flair, confidence or poise. Our skills are scarce; we lack the knack. But you know what the teeming, tee-box masses do have? Embarrassing moments. The game s grotesqueries are not just a problem for the faceless golfers of the world. Joel Zuckerman presents humorous and horrific humiliations, along with practical solutions, from contributors Billy Andrade, Beth Daniel, Brad Faxon, Fred Funk, Greg Norman, Dave Pelz, Reilley Rankin, Loren Roberts, J.D. Turner, and many more. Delightfully illustrated by Tom Matthews.

5.0 out of 5 stars On Target, December 11, 2007
This review is from: A Hacker's Humiliations: A Glossary of Golf Grotesqueries (Hardcover)
This great work is self-described as a "Glossary..." when in fact it is an autobiography. Unless you are one of the contributors (Greg Norman, Fred Funk, etc.), you are in this book many times. Whether you are Disrobing for Dollars or a Tee Box Tripper, we have all been there. The illustrations are equally as accurate as the description of the Humiliating situations. At first glance this book looks like it is loaded with chuckles, which is, and best of all it provides solutions for all the situations. A great gift for all golfers, particularly if they have everything.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Hacker's Humiliations - A Glossary of Golf Grotesqueries, September 16, 2007
This review is from: A Hacker's Humiliations: A Glossary of Golf Grotesqueries (Hardcover)
Once again, Joel Zuckerman has managed to compile some of the most interesting, intelligent, as well as comical paragraphs relating to the "Ultimate and Imtidating Game of Golf".....Hats off to Mr. Z and his staff for allowing all of us hackers to learn, as well as laugh at ourselves and the pros. Each page is a learning experience and lesson from our own personal history on the links. Yes, there must be cameras on the courses we have played...how else could this information have gotten out....who would tell? Oh, and don't forget, "Don't be an idiot!"

Keep up the great work....looking forward to your next work and maybe a chance to meet you someday for some "grog and gripes."
