I just finished going through the entire book line by line. I've learned tons of tricks in the last five days with this book. This book takes a very good look at all aspects of computer and internet. This has so many examples and tools that you can really learn the windows and hacker's secrets. Man, this book is great! Excellence through examples.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome and Informative Book, February 18, 2006
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Hackish PC Pranks & Cracks (Paperback)
This book is a very informative and well written book, with the exception of some grammer issues (the author uses waaaay too many commas. It gets annoying). The book deals with tweaking the windows GUI and system functions, as well as internet hacking, and pranking. It dosen't go into depth about pranking as much as might be expected, but only spends one chapter out of five talking about them specifically, and breifly mentions how tweaks can be applied as pranks. On the whole, this is a very informative book for the beginner to intermedite user.

NOTE: If you buy it used, be sure you get a copy with the CD!!!
