Very low quality,

This review is from: Hacky Sack~ Set of 3 ~ Assorted Colors ~ High Quality ~ Imported From Guatemala (Misc.)
I received three of these hacky sacks on a Friday afternoon and I immediately started playing with them. The first thing I noticed was that each sack was filled with some sort of Styrofoam and not the high-quality bean as said in the item description. Even so, the sacks had decent control and weighed approximately 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 ounces. I have to say that I quite like the design on my sacks and I thought it was cool that they aren't the same as the picture (so that means every time you order it's random). Now onto the biggest issue: these sacks broke after only 30 minutes. I don't know how that is even possible. Logically, a hacky sack should last at least a week of torment, not just thirty minutes of light play. I do not recommend these sacks for anyone to buy chiefly because of their ridiculously low quality. Even though they control well and are immaculately designed, they just aren't worth spending $10 for something that will break after just one use.

Please don't buy these. Hacky sack has started to get popular at my school. So I went and bought myself these 3 sacks. The main reason I don't like them is that they have WAY to much sand in them. The second is the high quality beads they tell you about are really pieces of styrofoam that stink. If you want to get yourself a good hacky sack get a sandmaster one. They are awesome, they are very cheap, and they come on prime shipping.

Footbag- poor quality,

This product isn't as good as it seems. It seems like a pretty good deal, you get 3 footbags for a low price. But they are of terrible quality. The stitching is pretty bad, there are ends of strings sticking out. Also the " high quality bean" that is stated in the description is styrofoam tightly packed into a bag on the inside of the stitching.
I would not recommend buying this product if you have ever had a high quality footbag before.

Perfect juggling balls for little hands,

Disclaimer: I bought mine directly from Turtle Island Imports before I saw that they were available here. The price here is a little better. The selection at Turtle Island is a little better.
Also, I don't use them for hacky sack, so I can't speak to how well they hold up when kicked around. I use them as knickknacks on a shelf, for juggling, and for playing catch with the grandkids. About 20 years ago, I saw them in a sporting goods store near the cash register - one of those impulse purchases. I bought 6. I think they were about $2 each. For a long time, I had them sitting in my office in a little pyramid because they are colorful and people ask about them. I would occasionally take three of them to practice juggling as a distraction. They are perfect for juggling. A few years ago, the grandchildren started appearing. One day, I looked at them in the office and it occurred to me that the grandkids might like them. I brought them home and built the little pyramid on a shelf in the family room. They were noticed immediately and we had a fun day teaching the kids (and their parents) to juggle. And, being kids, they quickly invented other games to play with them including a multi-player game of catch and a faux Easter egg hunt. Now, I will move them around the house and it's a bit of a game for them to find them when they come over. I bought the 12-pack to give to the grandkids to take home. I'll probably buy more from time to time. They are the perfect size for little hands. They are firm enough to throw and catch, but soft enough that they don't mind getting bonked on the head if they don't catch them and if they throw them in the house before I can stop them, they are not too likely to break anything. These belong in every toy box. There are a lot of what appear to be similar products on Amazon. Since I bought mine elsewhere, I cannot speak to the exact product. Some of the cheaper products do not have good reviews, so I suggest you check those before buying. The ones from Turtle Island Imports are made in Guatemala and are good quality. There is a set of 25, also from Turtle Island Imports, for $55 ($2.20 each). See Set of 25 Hacky Sacks, Assorted Colors. I paid $30 for a set of 12 ($2.50 each). There is a set of 12 for $15 ($1.25 each) from a different distributor. See 12 hackey sacks knitted kick balls toy hacky sack set of 12 and others. The ones I bought from Turtle Island Imports appear to be of the same excellent quality as the ones that I bought 20 years ago. Time will tell. They are going to get rougher treatment from the grandkids than they did sitting on the shelf in my office. I cannot speak to the quality from other suppliers. My main purpose in posting this review is to let parents and grandparents know how much fun these are with kids. I bought the assorted colors set. It's a nice assortment. Unless you have a need for a specific design, like the soccer balls, I'd recommend the assortment.

strong tight stitches, it's pretty full, so i'm hoping it will loosen up after a while, else i'll have to leak some beads.

I just received these hacky sacks today, and they seem to be in good shape. The stitching appears well done and I don't see any loose strings hanging out. So we will see how they look after a few kicks :D

These were the typical type of hacky sack that I expected. I gave them as a gift to my nephew, so I cannot tell you about the long term quality, yet.

Very nice hacky sack balls, seem nicely made, unlike the other Guatemalan balls I bought - these are crocheted, the otheres were woven, so they seem like they will stand up fine. This would also be good for those with developmental disabilities who have difficulty with motor skills and little children learning to catch, they are like bean bags, but round and colorful. Nice.
