I am still working on building a collection of Gospel/Christian music. This group (Blind Boys of Alabama) sings with soul and feeling, in a manner that seems to really touch upon the African American experience. It is very inspiring and I would recommend it to anyone, Christian or not, simply for it's historical, cultural and musical value.

Other Gospel/Christian music used for comparison: Mahalia Jackson; Elvis Presley; Jim Nabors; Shirley Ceasar
