Of course, most major collections of hadith are available on-line for free (as are all of the books published by Forgotten Books). If you want a hard copy of the book, this is the cheapest you are going to find. The translation of Buhkari it contains seems identical to the one found on the USC website [...] and so should be reliable. My complaint about this edition is that it does not provide subject headings. This single volume provides volume headings (i.e. vol. 1, vol. 2) corresponding to the standard edition. These may be useful in tracking down a reference to an individual hadith but provides no guidance in finding hadith on a particular topic. Bukhari is divided into topical chapters in standard editions as follows:
1. Revelation
2. Belief
3. Knowledge
4. Ablutions (Wudu')
5. Bathing (Ghusl)
6. Menstrual Periods
7. Rubbing hands and feet with dust (Tayammum)
8. Prayers (Salat)
9. Virtues of the Prayer Hall (Sutra of the Musalla)
10. Times of the Prayers
11. Call to Prayers (Adhaan)
12. Characteristics of Prayer
13. Friday Prayer
14. Fear Prayer
15. The Two Festivals (Eids)
16. Witr Prayer
17. Invoking Allah for Rain (Istisqaa)
18. Eclipses
19. Prostration During Recital of Qur'an
20. Shortening the Prayers (At-Taqseer)
21. Prayer at Night (Tahajjud)
22. Actions while Praying
23. Funerals (Al-Janaa'iz)
24. Obligatory Charity Tax (Zakat)
25. Obligatory Charity Tax After Ramadaan (Zakat ul Fitr)
26. Pilgrimmage (Hajj)
27. Minor Pilgrammage (Umra)
28. Pilgrims Prevented from Completing the Pilgrimmage
29. Penalty of Hunting while on Pilgrimmage
30. Virtues of Madinah
31.

After the Qur'an and Sira comes the Hadiths in terms of the most valuable Islamic texts. The Qur'an, Sira, and Hadiths together help form the basis of Islamic fiqh. According to Sunni cannon one of the most reliable Hadiths(collection of saying by the Prophet Muhammad)was collected by Bukhari. The entire collection (vol I-IX)of Bukhari hadiths typically runs between $130-$200. This particular version covers volumes I-IV, and for the price is unbeatable. Whether you're an Islamist or an academic seeking to learn more about Sunni Islam the Bukhari hadiths are invaluable.

This book is wonderfully comprehensive. My only complaint is that the hadith are not organized by headings (well, they might be organized, but there's no contents page or headings to make that clear). I knew that before I bought it, but didn't realize just how frustrating it would be. Other than that, it's great!
