I got this deployant clasp to go with a Hadley Roma band and couldn't be happier. The installation was very simple and the band and clasp fit together perfectly (as you would expect being from the same manufacturer). If considering a clasp, be sure to note the width of the band at the end, rather than where it attaches to the watch. The band I got was 20mm wide at the top, but narrowed to 18mm making this the appropriate buckle.

The push button action to open the clasp is very smooth and feels solid. The ends of the clasp click comfortingly into place when snapped close. One thing to note: if you have small or overly round wrists, this may not be a good choice for you. When closed, the buckle lays against your wrist with a small curve and is approximately 2 inches long. If your wrist is narrower than that, I imagine the band would look funny wrapped around your wrist. However if you have a larger wrist, the buckle is very comfortable and looks good.

As other commenters noted, this is a brushed stainless steel clasp, not a polished. Depending on your watch, you may need the twin of this clasp with a different finish. Fortunately I saw the description that this was brushed which is what I needed. It's a very brushed look, closer to titanium than anything else. The picture in the product description accurately captures the shade of steel, so make sure that is what you're looking for. It was what I wanted, and I'm glad I went with this clasp.

More and more watchbands are becoming an expensive proposition, especially if they come from the manufacturer of your watch, or just a good aftermarket croc, lizard or ostrich band. With a typical tang buckle the constant pulling back on the strap to buckle and unbuckle the watch makes the strap stretch and eventually wear prematurely at the 'bend' point. There are many cheap deployant buckles that work 'ok', but Hadley-Roma makes a pretty good DP buckle at a fair price which puts minimum wear on the strap, greatly extending it's life. They are made in China but are of good quality. This buckle has a sandblasted finish which works well with brushed stainless steel, titanium or zalium watchcases. Recommended to minimize wear and tear on a good leather strap.

Excellent product. Works very well. The brushed steel look complemented my watch perfectly and fits well on the wrist. Very good experience. This will save alot of wear & tear on the leather watchband.

No complaints really. It does what it's supposed to do and it hasn't broken yet. I've used it pretty much every day for a few months now (of course I'll let you know if it does end up breaking). I really don't see a downside to this product in terms of function. I spend around $50 on a new watch band, after the old one had worn down so much from daily use. This is definitely going to prolong the life of my new bands.

Make sure to measure the portion of your band where you will be attaching the clasp rather than the measurement between the watch's lugs. One of my watches has a tapered band, therefore the 20mm measurement between the lugs would have been incorrect for the thinner, 18mm, portion of the band where the clasp would attach.

The item is a bit expensive, but for what it does and how well it works, I think it's actually worth it.

This is a great clasp, but please note that it is not a brushed stainless finish, "it is a satin steel finish", please read other reviews that have also mentioned this fact. I can't say that I have ever seen a watch that has a finish like this clasp that it would go with and I own quite a few watches. Maybe Hadley-Roma would best serve consumers by producing a brushed stainless steel finish deployment clasp that would match so many sport watches sold today (the other deployment clasp sold by Hadley is a polished stainless finish).

I purchased two of these for my more frequently worn leather banded watches. Any initial added expense will be saved in the prolonged life of your band, particularly if you have smaller wrists and need to cinch the band with the buckle. The clasp is comfortable, opens and closes easily, and stays closed until you open it.

This is well-made and easy to assemble with most standard bands. I used the Hadley Roma MS848 18mm Kevlar band and they were a perfect match. The satin stainless finish matched my Seiko watch.

It works good but it adds too much thickness to the watch band. It made the buckle thicker than the watch case. I also have smaller than normal wrists so I was wearing it on the last hole.

This has a gray bead blasted type of finish. Functions just fine, but does not match the watch unless it has the same finish. I kept it because I doubt anyone will notice.

Nice quality. Matted finish goes well with my TAG Heuer F1 Chrono & Classic 2000 models. Bought two of these. Highly recommend this clasp...
