My husband and I both have a pair of these slippers and we LOVE them. They are very warm and cozy and the hardsole is a great bonus. We have had our slippers for two years and wear them nearly everyday both indoors and outdoors when we are at home. Both pairs have held up extremely well, but our dog recently chewed one of my husband's slippers. So I purchased these slippers again as a Christmas present for him.

The boiled wool upper fits around the foot like a glove and the more you wear the slipper the more it molds to your foot. Its nice and warm and not at all itchy. We will occasionally through our slippers in the washing machine and then let them air dry overnight. The colors have not faded and the slippers have maintained their shape.

The hardsole makes it easy to walk outside on the deck or front porch even when there is snow. Not only does the sole give you traction outside and on hardwood floors but it gives you more support for your foot/arch/ankle which is really important for me. The best part though is that the slipper keeps your feet completely dry if you go outside and walk in the snow or in the rain for a few minutes.

We are very happy with these slippers and think they are well worth the money.

Halfinger AT Boiled Wool Outdoor Slippers are the most comfortable slippers I've ever owned. The most wonderful thing is they have a significant arch support and extremely comfortable soles. I'd buy these slippers again!

This was my second pair of haflinger slippers. I originally purchased the softbottom ones, that in a few months... started to fray at the stitching on the bottom and come apart. They were useless and I threw them away. I loved the comfort, so I purchased the hardbottom Haflinger slippers (in black). I purchased these in 12/2010 and exactly 6 months later... they are falling apart. This time the inside top is fraying and my toes are starting to poke thru the top. So in walking when you flex your foot to keep your sandal on... well my toe is starting to poke through the top of the slipper. I have well manicured feet, with short toe-nails...have not been abusive to these slippers at all. I do wear them all the time when I am home. I would expect the durability to be a lot longer for $65 slippers. Seems that both slippers (soft bottom and hard bottomed) have a lifespan of 6 months. Very disappointing!

I absolutely LOVE these slippers! It's really hard to believe these are "slippers", because the sole is made so well they can be worn indoors and outdoors. Very comfortable too. I've only had them about a month, but wear them all the time, indoors and out to get the mail, water the garden, etc, and they still look brand new. Would definitely recommend.

I wore my first pair of Haflinger slippers for 10 years, until the tops were largly worn through. Now I'm on my second round. They are fantastically comfortable and well worth the price.

I had another pair of Haflingers that eventually wore through the toes after four years of wear. I have stone tile floors in apartment and it is always cold. I went with the outdoor slipper because I thought it would provide more insulation against the cold floors and I couldn't be happier. The slipper is warm without being too warm and wears in nicely. However, after less than 6 months, the heel area on one of the slippers is tearing apart and fraying. The slippers were on the pricey side so I'm a bit disappointed. However, I'll still continue to wear them until they break down completely.

This is comfort, support value for your dollar. I'll order again when these wear out.

Good slippers are hard to find, these are comfortable and sturdy. I was pleased with my purchase.

I have had the pleasure of wearing out 1 pair and obtaining a second. these slippers are the most comfortable slipper I have had on my wide flipper during my stay on this planet. Durable, warm and I could not imagine having anything else on my feet that would feel as good except maybe a masseueses warm hands.
