Habitrail OVO Mini Maze

First off, it's bigger than I thought which is a great surprise! My hamster loves to hang out in this (I don't have the insert put in) and the 2 different ways of opening this is really fantastic.

When I discovered my hamster fit through the bars of my cage I decided I needed this type of habitat, and I'm 19 so I obviously didn't want a multi color toy cage. It's very modern and matches the color of my room. It is also easy to clean and escape proof, so nice!

I plan to buy many of the Habitrail products to complete my setup.

We purchased the Habitrail Ovo Mini Maze as an addition to the Ovo Loft, and several other Ovo accessories. Both we, and our Syrian, have really been enjoying the Ovo products, but the little guy managed to pop open the blue hatch on the Mini Maze with his teeth, and escape. Luckily I was watching him at the time, so he didn't get far. We've had to remove this item from his cage network.

My hamster refused to go in this thing (unless I put food in it) until I removed the cardboard maze. Once the 'offending' piece of paper was removed, she loved it. She yanked her litter up into it and promptly built a very nice, cozy looking nest - and loves it. The item itself is well-constructed, the locking system is wonderful (so long as you remember to lock it into place...) and my hamster adores running through her OVO tubes like a mad-hammie. It's amusing to watch. She's an escape artist, and though she's escaped from these things due to my own forgetfulness, when they're properly locked, she hasn't gotten out once. Bravo to the Habitrail people!

Connects to both reglar sized and dwarf sized Habitrail tunnels and looks nice. It's a neat way to give your hamster (or other small animal) snacks as they must use their minds and noses to help them figure out where they are hidden. Provides your hamster with stimmulation while providing you with entertainment while you watch your pet discover where there treats have been hidden. The product arrived quickly and without scratches.

It took awhile to find a cage that the mice couldn't escape from but this is it. The mice are quite happy in it, there are many places to add on, and they can't escape. Love it.

The maze idea is great--but not budge friendly. The inserts are expensive since they come in only 3 to a pack. But, my critters have started using it as a toilet, which makes the cage easier to clean. As always, habitrail makes fun products. I have no problems opening or closing this guy.

Great design. Easy enough to install. Mini-maze cardboard inserts fit well. We put the gerbils food dish in there.

We have 3 gerbils who love to sleep/snuggle in the OVO Mini maze. I love how it easily opens and removes for easy cleaning. My gerbils did manage to scratch a hole through the bottom white plastic so I had to buy a replacement. Overall, a great product and would purchase again.

My hammy took about a week to use the mini maze. She was able to push her way out of this and we had to take out the maze as well.
