Fluval came out with Opti-carb to compete with Bio-Chem Zorb. Bio-Chem Zorb is the proven leader in carbon-resin filter media. How does Opti-carb stack up? It is better than Chemi-Pure but not equal to Bio-Chem Zorb. It is not a bad product. Just know that side by side tests show Bio-Chem Zorb is better.
