About the Author

Rabbi Marc-Alain Ouaknin is professor of comparative literature at Bar-Ilan University in Tel Aviv. He is the author of The Burnt Book (1994), Mysteries of the Alphabet (1999), Mysteries of the Kabbalah (2000) and Symbols of Judaism (2000).

Gerard Garouste is a leading representative of contemporary figurative painting. His work has been exhibited in numerous museums and galleries worldwide such as the Leo Castelli Gallery in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

One of the most beautiful Haggadahs imaginable. Beautifully made book,
fine binding in a well made box. Lovely handmade paper with fantastic multicolor illustrations that tie in emotionally with this story of freedom and independence.Very large size and very heavy so it will make an excellent display. Comes with a paperbound copy for reading as well. This is a special, limited edition of only 1700 copies and is an excellent value for such a small number available for collectors.
