After a lot of research and trying to stay within a budget, I decided to try the Haier. So far it has been a wonderful LCD tv. Picture is great. I liked it so much that I bought a little bigger on for the living room. For the money, can't beat it. I am not in to the biggest and best so didn't expect theatre quality sound. With a small surround system in living room and direct sound from tv in bedroom, completely satisfied.
