We own a Plasma tv, a lcd tv, a tube tv..now this led tv..I bought this for my daughters room..the picture really isn't anything special..of all the tvs in our house this one is the worst but its for a 9 year old and a 3 year old. I wanted something slim to be able to mount to the wall and wanted it white because they have pink walls. Doubt I would buy this again.

Edited to downgrade rating...sound is HORRIBLE on it..certain channels you turn even half way up and it is a muffled sound.

DO NOT WASTE MONEY BUYING THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!

I was a bit hesitant to buy this unit after reading a few brutal reviews, but as we all know some people are never happy with anything. The TV and DVD work flawlessly so far, and what a great picture. I was pleasantly surprised. The wider screen and ability to get HD channels is great for watching the Red Wings and Lions when the wife boots me out of the living room.
Setup was easy and the channel scanner found every channel available on the Charter lineup without a hitch, unlike my old analog TV which dropped channels quite regularly.
I will also be making a quick mount bracket to move this TV from the kitchen to my boat in the summer(the ability for this unit to run on 12 volts will work well for that.)
The remote is laid out well and very simple to use unlike most of my other remotes. The sound is a bit tinny, but other than that I love this Combo unit.

I was hesitant to purchase this TV for our children's play room after reading some negative reviews. We've had it for a week, and I love it. The picture quality far surpassed my expectations. I agree that the sound is not crystal clear, but it's certainly not horrible or even muffled. It easily mounted to an articulating wall mount. I have noticed the sound quality improves when the TV is pulled forward away from wall, since speakers are located in the back of the TV to accommodated it's compact dimensions. I love that the DVD player is built-in, saves on clutter. I would recommend it to any of my friends.. glad I bought it!

I purchased the white Haier 19" tv/dvd combo. The weight of this attractive little tv was great, nice and light. The picture quality is great, too. It's a nice addition to my little grandaughter's bedroom.

This is my first LED TV /DVD player and do tell the quality of LED in comparison to my other TVs. I have it in the bathroom. Three of my DVD players was broken shortly moved into the bathroom. This one is still in function since last May. I have it in connecting with the set of small computer speaker. The price was very good. I am so happy with it. The price is even lower now.
