Took months to get due to Haier product introduction delay and then 3 errors either by Ebay or Haier regarding shipping non DVD version instead of DVD version. Once I got the right version with DVD I have been very pleased. Quality of product, both picture and sound exceeded my expectations. These small LED LCD TV's are very thin and that impacts the sound volume as speakers are not as big as LCD only TVs. Very good sound quality. Easy to set up with DirecTV. Nice feature with audio out plug so you can pipe out the audio through external cable into amplified speakers if you want to rattle the rafters. Look out Sharp and Sony. Haier is definitely a top contender.

Picture and features are OK, but the picture in normal mode doesn't fill the full 24" screen.

The screen sometimes tilts to the left or right because the base is flimsy - just touch the screen and it tilts - so I've had to bend the base back to keep the screen level a few times. Another complaint is that the audio doesn't switch the speakers off/on when you plug-in/unplug the headphone jack like most TVs do - you actually have to work down through the menus to switch the speakers on and off every time.

I haven't tried the DVD player in this unit yet so I have no opinion of this feature.

I was hard pressed to find a smaller 1080 TV, but I'm glad I kept looking for one. The picture is fantastic. The speakers are good too, good enough for me to hear clearly over the treadmill. :) Very nice combo unit.

Excellent TV, packed with features, the only complaints I have are: the usb port location (easily solved with a USB extension cable), the dvd label faces the wall when you put it in which is the opposite of what you would expect. Aside from that it only recognizes fat32 formatted storage, which is not a fault, just an inconvenience.

tv was not as described, it doesn't have dvd player, went to Haier website and that model isn't a dvd/tv combo. seen others have had this problem too.

When I wrote Amazon to find out the status, I got back a jumble of boilerplate about "sometimes publishers wait... to do a new press run" and similar nonsense. No actual update to a request as to whether Amazon is making any effort to get the product they claim to be selling.
