The HLC32R1 32-inch LCD HDTV by Haier will be the star piece of your entertainment system. The built-in DVD player offers a cleaner look to your entertainment system by bundling two devices into one. You'll enjoy exceptional sound and picture quality with its 1366x768 resolution. Connecting to other media devices is made easy with the two component inputs and four HDMI inputs which provide a simple solution for high-quality audio and video input. It features a 3D comb filter which cleans up fuzzy images, giving you accurate colors and stable images. It has a DSM (HD Engine) and an integrated ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuner which allows you to receive free over-the-air HDTV signals. You can use the 32-inch screen as your computer "monitor" via the PC input. The 30-degree swivel stand allows you to adjust the TV to the perfect viewing angle. Included with the TV is a universal remote control.

I REALLY HAVE ENJOYED THIS TV, SETUP WAS EASY, ONLY DOWN SIDE TWO YEARS AFTER PURCHASE STARTED HAVING DOUBLE PICTURE AND DVD STOP WORKING. SERVICE CENTER UNABLE TO FIX HAD TO HAVE IT REPLACED. THANK GOODNESS FOR EXTEND WARRANTY

This is a great tv/dvd combo. Arrived securely packaged by freight company. Easy installation. Comes with stand attached. We chose to install on the wall. We purchased the "cheetah mounts" brackets from Amazon which was also a great deal. Very secure & well made. One point I must make about this tv is their instruction book. They state you need 4 metric screws to mount the tv to the wall. While this is correct, they have the size reversed in the manual which is confusing. My main gripe is why don't the necessary screws come with the tv? They were only .15 each and would have saved alot of headache trying to find the correct ones. After all, the batteries came with the remote. In any case, this is an excellent tv. The colors are vivid and true, you can view at almost any angle and still have a good picture. The quality reminds me of plasma. We've had this tv for six weeks and hopefully, it will continue giving long lasting quality & vivid images for years to come. The DVD works great as well. The remote is also easy to understand and the sound quality reproduces nicely. A great buy in my book!!!

Get Ready to Fight With Tech Support...,

After five months of owning this television, the DVD player started to make a noise similar to a V8 engine badly in need of a tune-up. Then the functions started going haywire. It was mounted high on the wall as to keep it from the curious clutches of my two young boys, so I know it had not been tampered with. When I called support, they wanted me to send it in for a diagnosis, stating that the whole procedure could take more than six weeks. Um... no thanks. So I fought with the retailer I purchased it from to trade it for a real TV. Sooooo glad it's not in my house anymore. What a waste of time.
