This Freezer came pretty dinged up. It works great but there are dings all over the freezer. I do not know if it is because UPS doesn't take care of anything, of if the supplier Amazon has doesn't take care of it in their warehouse, but there is no reason for as many dings as I got on my Freezer. Fortunately, everything works and I have it filled up now.

My first freezer arrived with dents to all edges, the control panel was dangling out the front, and coolant had leaked all over the side of the box. I contacted Amazon, they provided an immediate response and my replacement arrived a few days later in perfect condition. The product gets an A, shipping gets a B, Amazon gets a resounding A+!

The freezer is perfect, no defects on arrival. It has a very low rate of ice buildup, almost to the point of being a frost-free unit. It has more than ample freezer space, and I particularly like the area above the compressor unit as a storage place for the ice cream maker bowls.

I love my new freezer! Just in time to stock up on ice cream goodies for the summer. I was looking for something smaller, but between the low price and the free shipping, this larger freezer came out to be much more affordable that many smaller freezers on other websites. I filled it with a few bags of ice before I put food in it to make it more efficient. It cooled down very quickly, and seems to work great! Thanks so much once again AMAZON!

The package has very little room (1 inch) for protection and virtually no protective materials particularly for the corners. Naturally, it had many (about 10-15) dents and scratches on the corners. I tried as this seems to be a good value but I have to say that it would be surprising if anyone got a perfect (no dents) one. Bottom line - no one likes chores of repackaging and returning the product. If you do not mind dents and scratches, this might be a great value product. Otherwise, forget it.

Had 2 sent, packaging is awful. No protection whatsoever! both damaged with dents and scratches.

I bought this for a friend, and as others stated it arrived dented, just in original packaging is the reason why..I called Amazon and explained that it could go one of 2 ways, I could send it back and play until I got a good one, not dented or they could offer me a discount and I'd keep this one seeing that it works good, they offered me a 20% discount so I kept it.
Now unless it fails to freeze which it has been fine so far. Amazon was great about this..

When I made the decision to purchase this freezer there were only two reviews: one good, one poor. I assumed the poor review was more about poor expectations but was proven incorrect. Product arrived on time but external box portended further issues; as others have indicated the packaging is insufficient but that's only part of the story. The construction of the freezer is of very lightweight material, certainly sufficient operational but little hope of it arriving intact. Mine had to go back because one leveling foot would not function, it had been dropped hard enough on the corner to destroy it's function.

I really wanted to like this freezer for price/value and convenience of delivery but was disappointed, it was returned and I purchased my original Frigidaire decision locally for same price. Kudos to Amazon for making the return process very easy.

This item looks good on paper but its packaging is so flimsy that I had to return 2 different ones, the initial and the replacement, for severe damage to the metal casing. I ended up buying a different brand at Loews and that one has good protection and came home just fine.

We have used this for almost a year now. Works like a charm. Would have been 5 stars if it did not have a nice dent on the front corner of the unit. I think this has been noted in other reviews. Why can't they figure out how to ship this thing with a litte more care?
