decent little fridge,

I bought this after my first dorm fridge of the semester crapped out. I had a lot of problems with ordering and delivery of this product, but it was due to the company; the item itself is perfectly fine. It is virtually the same as other 2-door refrigerator/freezers of more recognizable names such as Frigidaire. I had personally never heard of Haier before, but the fridge does its job pretty well. A middle setting is enough to make frost form in freezer and keep milk plenty cold. Heat is expelled out of the sides, so don't put it in a close-fitted cubby even if it is convenient. That probably contributed to the death of my first fridge. Straight out of the box, the inside of the fridge/freezer smelled strongly of plastic, and even after two baking soda washes still smelled of plastic, though much less strongly. Weeks later, the smell is gradually fading.

The fridge works well. Definitely does what it's expected to. It's cold enough to cause ice build up in the fridge on the medium coldness setting. It can be a little loud at times, particularly when it must expel heat on the sides when it needs to significantly drop the temperature, but other than that, no complaints.

bought this for me and my wifes bedroom so far it works great. i'm glad i bought it i love the look try and find another compact fridge with a light in the fridge there aren't many.
great price other places want more $ love the freezer keeps every thing frozen. retired my old fridge it was a sanyo still work great but only had a tiny open freezer inside the fridge didn'tvwork good at all glad to replace it with this one if you looking at fridges look no more. if i have any problems i will get it fixed under warrenty thats how much i love this fridge, i jusr received it if it broke tommorrow i would still get it fixed instead of returning it thats really how much i love it. i looked at all the compacts available this was the best looking i could find. buy it you won't be sorry!
