When I peeled the box off of the cellar, my first impression was that it looked better than the picture, then when I decided to place it in its new home, I found that it fit perfectly! I swear that vacant spot in the kitchen was waiting for this for 15 years!

Under any other circumstances, I would've knocked a star off for having the thermostat control in the back of the unit, but out of fairness, the price is right, especially if you always have wine, but never a large collection. The smoked glass ensures that your wines stay in a dark environment, and the subtle interior light doesn't interfere with this when switched on, yet allows you to see inside. Just remember to adjust the feet on it so that it sits nice and level.

I've had this wine cellar for two months now and it has been perfect. It holds a nice, steady 51 degree temp and makes less noise than the PC sitting nearby. I may buy another as a Christmas present.

My cellar needed servicing, as it came with a minor defect (light would not turn on because the door did not match up with the light push lever). While they advertised a 90-day warranty, the service company they contracted with would not come to our town (said he was too busy in the adjacent town) - Haier apparently had no remedy. The place I bought it was 3 hours away or they would've had the thing back. If you can afford it, buy a little higher quality cellar!

I've had this now since January and I can tell you the wine chills perfectly for the pallet. Not too cold and not too warm. The size also fits a household wine tasters pallet. You can also keep beer and other refrigerated items in this. The shelves and basket come out. This has a control knob for the perfect temperature. I would recommend highly and buy it on Amazon. They give you the perfect price.

The packaging was damaged on delivery but luckily there was no damage to the wine cellar. I love the way it looks, and the cellar doesn't make any more noise than a refrigerator should (obviously when you first plug it in, the compressor will generate some noise as it is cooling the cellar for the first time).

My complaint is that there is no adjustable thermostat on the refrigerator, although the product description claims that you can adjust the temperature between 45 and 65 degrees. The description on the Haier America website also states that there is an adjustable thermostat, but there is only one switch/button on the entire refrigerator, and that switch is the on/off switch for the interior light.

I purchased a freezer thermometer to test the temperature myself. The temperature on the top shelf was approximately 55-60 degrees, and the temperature in the basket at the bottom is approximately 45 degrees. So while there is no thermostat, you can arrange your wine bottles based on the differences in temperature in the different locations of the cellar.

I gave this to my boyfriend for his 30th birthday and he loves it. We have a small apartment so it fits in the living room and acts as an end table. It looks beautiful and is great for those who enjoy wine but are not to serious about it. I love it and the price was right!

Finally something that fits into our small space.Very quiet. Chills the wine perfectly.We also use it for sodas for the kids. Great Product.

Working great & in my husband's "man cave" right inside his bar. It's about the size of a dishwasher. Keeps everything just the right temp.

During the black out of 2003 we had no power for 14hrs and when the power came back on the temperature was still in my set range.

It was easy enough to get Amazon to have it picked up but hard to re-package it since it arrived damaged.
