It seems well made and is very quiet. Nice job Haier!
The actual height is 18", which is almost 2" taller than what is stated on the box (16 1/5") and on the website (also 16 1/5").
The actual width is 9 15/16", which is close enough to 9.9", which is on the box and the website.
The actual depth is 20 3/8", which is about an inch less than the 21.3", which is on the box and the website.
The actual dimensions are: 9-15/16" Wide, 20-3/8" Deep, 18" High.
The dimensions on the Amazon product page are: 9.9 x 16.2 x 21.3 inches. (as of the date of this review)
The dimensions printed on the product box are 9 9/10" Wide, 21 3/10" Deep, 16 1/5" High.
They actually have the wrong dimensions on the box! My cabinets are 17 3/4" above my countertops, so this will not fit.
First off this unit is compact, it fits under my kitchen cabinets, and is well made. It is sturdy and the light illumiates the bottles just enough to see into the fridge without a huge spot light.
The cellar holds 8 bottles and the temperature is adjustable according to the ambient temperature of the room.
Upon arrival I loaded my 8 bottles into the cellar, and it basically took overnight for the temperature was at 46 degrees. The shelves are wire racks and will hold a bottle even after its opened if you use one of the vacuumed sealed 'corks'. I was able to leisurely drink a bottle of white over a few days rather than right away or having to store in the fridge.
Some reviewers are complaining of the fan noise, I have super keen hearing, and while I did hear the fan it was not loud. Maybe as loud as a computer fan, but not really. I really cannot stand loud noises and I can hear the slightest sounds, so if it does not bother me, it wont bother most people.
Overall I think it is a great wine cellar, and I am thinking of purchasing one for my red collection. Its a perfect size, keeps a consistent temperature and looks beautiful. I have mine sitting on my kitchen counter.
I think you will be pleased.
I wanted a beer fridge, but it appears that most beer fridges are designed with cans in mind. I drink a lot of craft beers, so the majority of my beer comes in 22 ounce bottle form, or just regular 12 ounce bottles. Rarely does a craft beer come in a can. This product satisfied my needs by allowing me to chill 8x 22 ounce bottles with ease.
The price for this product is perfect. I snagged it when Amazon dropped down to $85 for one weekend, and I couldn't be happier about the price paid. I would have gladly paid a little more, if there was additional space for some 12 ounce bottles too, but I know that's asking a bit much.
As for features, the touchscreen temperature gauge is easy to read and use. There is a light inside the unit that can be accessed via the touch screen, however it doesn't really serve much of a purpose. The bottles are so close together that a little LED light shining from above won't do much. The unit itself is quiet and cool. I'd highly recommend this to anyone, beer or wine drinkers alike!

After about 2 months of ownership it became quite noisy with a lawnmower type sound. I have to unplug it from time to time to reset it when that happens. Read morePublished 16 months ago by Outback guy
