The cooler works great. The digital temp. setting only flucuates 1 degree and serves my purpose well. I highly recommend this wine cooler.

I'm not sure if the one I received was defective or not but it would not hold its temperature. I only drink red wine so I needed it to be at 65 all the time. The ONLY time it stayed at 65 is when I had the heat running in my house at 70, otherwise it was always at the temp within my home (which completely defeats the purpose.) I didn't need a pretty storage box. I've seen much better units than this. It was a complete waste of money and I'm sending it back.

The unit showed up with a label, I eventually discovered, stating it was shipped from the 'Amazon returns dept'. WTF? It had scratches, mars, dings in the metal, etc. That ain't new, so why was it advertised as such?

I took it out of the box anyway, noting said abnormalities (along with a slightly askew door I might add) plugged it in, and tried to get the temp down to the display minimum; not a chance. Folks, this is NOT a Carnot cycle device; rather, it uses integrated circuits (Piezo crystals, I believe) to cool air based on a fixed temperature difference, which means you're at the mercy of your local climate / house temp. Which is fine if you live in the Great White North, but you're SOL if you're in south Texas, like myself.

It's not a bad looking unit and seems to be fairly well made, and would probably be fine for red wines (or Saki :-). But I'm still so pissed that Amazon and/or their subcontractors had the nerve to send out as new what was clearly anything but, that the 1-star rating remains. And you've been so good to me over the years - shame on you!

I absolutely love it! I wish it was a little longer in depth so it could hold an opened bottle with the stopper. But it
keeps the temperature right on and is very quiet. Love the led light too! I would definitely recommend this to a friend. I will probably be buying one for my daughter soon!

I agree, this productr sucks! Mine (bought new) has NEVER worked as it should and after unplugging it last week to use my blender in the outlet, it has STOPPPED WORKING ALTOGETHER since I plugged it back in. Prior to that, out of the box, I could never get it to chill below 56 degreess!! I hate it!!

I'm not too big on wine collection, but do like to have my wines at perfect temperature when I have friends or family over... I live in a small apartment and this was just the perfect size and shape for it...

It keeps wines at the temperature you want it (sometime it fluctuates by -1 degree), it has an interior light if you want to display it for your guests, and you set both temperature and light with a touch screen control...

I have received many compliments on it and the best part is that it is very silent!

I really like this cooler...sits on top of my kitchen counter nicely..absolutely no noise that I can hear at least and keeps 4 bottles nicely chilled....Could be a little bit cooler, (which it can if you take the other 3 out!) But i need 4 bottles for company...so there you have it..biggest model name in Europe,,and I can see why. I so far have two Haier products and they are superior in quality to the junk from China.....

It worked great for about 2 weeks, then I noticed it getting louder. After almost 4 weeks, I can hear it throughout the house at night. I'm going to exchange it (as I'm within a 30 day return/exchange policy) and give it another go in hopes I just got a bad unit...we'll see. I'm giving it 3 stars since I'm undecided at this time.

I wanted to have a small wine cooler in the kitchen so I didn't have to go out to the garage to get a second glass of wine (where my other wine cooler is located}. When I put an opened bottle in the refrigerator it was too cold. This keeps it perfect and looks great!

This product looks great, and works great if it works. Be very careful buying their products. Haier is a made in China product that charges you replacement for their products even though it is under warranty. They guise it under shipping charges and make you pay return shipping fees. Better to go out and buy a better
serviced product that is American even though you pay more.
