I received the air conditioner relatively fast. However, what I received
was an older model of the one I requested. The item number received was not much different than the one I ordered. What made me check is that the box looked old & tossed around quite a bit. The sender claimed Amazon sent them an incorrect skew number and that's why I got the wrong one. This is probably NOT true. I have been dealing with Amazon for years, and never had a problem. I strongly feel the sender was trying to rid themselves of an outdated model and got caught.

Don't let "best price online" fool you! Allergy Be Gone (ABG) did not comply with my order stipulation of a factory sealed box. They shipped the A/C double boxed; I received an obvious return from another customer (inner factory box dirty, beat up & resealed). A/C unit was damaged & marred --probable reason for original return.
I emailed ABG immediately of the damage & offered to send pictures; I also left a voice mail message and called many times; their phone system is rigged to dump your call into voice mail so you can't speak to anyone. They DID NOT communicate to resolve this problem (exchange or credit), just stuck their head in the sand. I returned the A/C without an RGA anyway & notified my credit card company, even though there is an Amazon A-Z guarantee. Merchants don't like the banks on their back. ALSO KNOW that Amazon DOES NOT ship items on behalf of ABG! Amazon only provides the storefront and ABG handles the entire ordering process. When they blame Amazon for a problem (see other customer reviews), ABG is not telling you the truth. READ Amazon's terms/conditions, etc. Due diligence will show these people operate under MANY different names in the NY & NJ areas (I found 5 after the fact), that all reflect considerable negative complaints (some bait/switch, some bribes to remove negative reviews, some poor customer service.) Do a search for the "company name" + "complaints". In my book, a well-earned negative review is a well-deserved negative review and that is what I'm providing here. It cost me over $100 to return this A/C unit from CA to NJ and I doubt that anyone involved in this transaction will reimburse me. A very costly mistake for after-the-fact due diligence. If you happen to be "blessed" with a similar problem on your order, consider being proactive and take appropriate action long before you run past any deadlines that may be in effect. Another review mentioned Amazon should be aware of these ABG problems, which I agree. IN ADDITION, HAIER (AND THE OTHER PRODUCTS OF MANUFACTURERS ABG SELLS) ALSO NEED TO KNOW THIS DISTRIBUTOR IS NOT REPRESENTING THE MANUFACTURERS IN LINE WITH GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICES. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a rating for the Haier HWVR10XC6 10,000 BTU 3-Speed Air Conditioner digital with remote; I can only provide a rating for the ABYSMAL BUSINESS PRACTICES of Allergy Be Gone.

As the other reviews. I got a less expensive Air conditioner. After reading these reviews and seeing this is not an isolated incident, I am really upset.
I ordered Haier HWVR10XC6 10,000 BTU 3-Speed Air Conditioner digital with remote. They sent me a manual HAIRWV10XC5. I called Allergey Be Gone and got the run around and a lame excuse. I did get a a small credit instead of shipping it back which would have been more trouble than it was worth. I gave Allergery Be Gone a bad review and then the manager called me and said he would credit my account an extra $20.00 for the inconvenience, but would like me to take into consideration removing the bad review I gave them on seller feedback. I did not remove my review and I will never do business with Allergy Be Gone again. Now the AC is 2 months old, and the knobs are cracking and I had to order new ones!!! The good point about this unit is cools the room well and is also very quite. I have NEVER had a problem with Amazon and always had wonderful customer service, but I hope Amazon is reading this and seeing that Allergy Be gone has been shipping several customers the incorrect products and not taking care of their customers like they should be.
