there are different measurements between Product Dimensions, Product Description, and even a different measurement for the black Haier Haier MWM0701TB Compact 2/3-Cubic-Foot 700-Watt Microwave Oven, Blackmicrowave. I wanted to pull out my tape measure so it can be clear as to the exact measurements. I just did it to clear up the confusion, because I was confused myself by all the different measurements on the product page.

added 6/15: for those who don't have video, the measurements are 17" wide, 10" tall, and 13" deep (the space bar in the rear for ventilation is included in the depth measurement).

Update: 01/08/2012: still works as well as it did the first day. I'm very happy with my purchase so far.

This microwave is exactly what I wanted. The size is perfect for my limited counter space. Has all the features I wanted and it is well made.

Bought this wave with a gift cert. Well worth the money. Perfect for a small family that just needs to heat up an occasional left over or small wave dinners. Works great for popcorn too. Easy to understand instruction manual. Def. Recommend.

I've had this for about a month now. It is a very basic, small microwave. I use it at work to warm up my lunch. The size is fine for most single prepackaged meals. So far it works fine. If the cooking time on the package says 3-4 minutes, I cook it for 4 minutes and it is sufficiently cooked and hot. It's not very powerful (700W) and it has some annoying features like the very loud beeps (5 times) at the end of the cooking cycle, but otherwise it works fine. The sticker on the front of mine came off without a problem. I bought mine on sale for $39.

I read several reviews before purchasing this microwave. These reviewers seem, for the most part, to be very nit-picky. I chose to buy it based on size and price. So I will address the negative comments that I saw repeated several times.

The sticker came off SO EASILY and there was NO residue left behind. I started in the lower, right corner and peeled slowly until I could grip it with my thumb and index finger. I then pulled faster and it came off smoothly, in one piece, without leaving residue behind.

Secondly, I saw several comments about cook times. This Haier 700 Watt Microwave can be set for any cooking time up to 99 minutes and 99 seconds.

I will update when we move & begin using this microwave regularly - in a couple of months.

This is just what I was looking for, a little microwave to reheat food and defrost. We have very limited counter space and this is a perfect size. Thanks to everyone on the heads up regarding the sticker on the front. If you very slowly (I mean very slowly) start at the corner, you can pull the sticker off without any paper or glue left on.

We just moved and bought a house with a very small kitchen. We wanted to hang a microwave, but did not have enough clearance about the stove. I needed something compact to conserve counter space. This works very well for the price and size. Two things I wish I had known: 1. My large plates won't fit inside. 2. It isn't as powerful as our previous microwave. Most things take an additional 30 sec - 1 min to cook/reheat.

So this is a great little microwave from Haier. The price point and its size make it ideal for a college student's need. I bought this when I moved to a new city for grad school and got my own place. It is easy to clean, has a lot of useful settings (that honestly, I never get to use) and a clock. What more do you need? I just use this to warm up a plate of food and it does a great job at that. It has enough power that heating up food doesn't take too long either. That being said, there are other, bigger microwaves that are more suited for a full family home. But for a college student, or a bunch of roommates, this is completely ideal.

And just in case anyone is worried, they pack this VERY well. I mean, the Haier box was in an Amazon box lined with bubble wrap and then that box was placed in an even bigger box with more stuffing to keep this thing safe. It does make the final box big and heavy (it says here packaging weight is 38 lbs compared to the 24 lbs for the thing itself) but better safe than sorry!

I bought this microwave in August of 2010. It worked fine when I purchased it, but now in less than a year the door is jammed, release button is broken and the door will not open. I am not happy with this purchase.
