The drawings are very well done & each is perfectly aligned with the theme of the poem it represents.

The charming illustrations make this book even more personal, yet somehow also universal.

There once was a man from Nantucket...this book is better than that. The illustrations are great and perfectly fit each Haiku.

My single girl days are behind me, but I thoroughly enjoyed every page of Haiku for the Single Girl. These poems are funny, sexy, and sad--often all at once--in just 17 syllables. The charming illustrations make this book even more personal, yet somehow also universal. A great gift for single sisters who need a boost, and for married girlfriends who need a chuckle. Well done!

This is such a cute book for any girl that is--or has ever been--single! The illustrations are great and each sentiment rings heart-breakingly true. Some will make you laugh out loud and others will make you sigh with relief that you're not the only one who's thought that. The book itself is lovely as well, I love the red foil on the cover.

As a girl who has spent the vast majority of her twenties as a single girl in Manhattan, I have to say that this book manages to say so much with so few syllables. The turn of each page is like a hilarious stroll down memory lane.

I had the pleasure of working on this project with the illustrator, so I may be biased, but I LOVE this little book! The poems are smart & funny & all-too-true. We laughed our heads off while working on it prior to publication.
The drawings are very well done & each is perfectly aligned with the theme of the poem it represents. I love this style of illustration, but that is a personal preference so your mileage may vary.
I've purchased several copies to give as gifts to my female friends, the single & the used-to-be single alike. I'm very much hoping for a sequel!

Altough the language is sometimes rough, I really liked it.
It's consolating for single girls. Nice images, real situations...
Feeling better while reading
