Nintendo-Tastic!,

If you're a fan of old school nintendo style music...then you'll be in for a huge treat. All of his tunes are constantly filled with layers of that 8bit sound some people really love.

I heard a bunch of these songs on Pandora and they were all so catchy and well put together I bought my first mp3 album... There is just something about 8bit stuff thrown in that makes this album so neat to listen to.

Listen to the preview, and if you want to hear more you can get some of the tracks on Pandora radio. Start to finish, it's a great listen!

One of the main reasons I love electronic music is the purity of sound; How those eerie dissonances myseriously twang their way into a glorious chime of perfect harmony; How the seemingly reliable tremor of a beat can pull out from under me with such decisive precision it almost makes me gasp.COPY truelly takes the, albeit very generalized, genre of electronic or synth music and redefines and explores what it can be about. A journey to discover new combinations of rhythm and melody. After purchasing this album, I bought COPY's other album, Mobius Beard, and the 2 singles from "Journal of Popular Noise - Issue 5." Judging from the noticeable and equally astounding variety of sounds, it appears COPY is leading us on voyage that is (I hope) just beginning. Experimental-synthpop-breakbeats with a dash of nostalgia (i loved my Nintendo.) |
