This steamer sucks! I intially gave it good reviews because it was portable and easy to use. After 5 months it stop working, after numerous calls to the company I was told I was not eligible for a refund because it had passed the 30 warranty period! I was told to send in the steamer and they would try to repair it for $60 bucks! What a complete waste! That's $130 down the drain for nothing! If you want a quality steamer that works then I suggest you get the one from SalonsRus. They cost the same thing but are sturdier. I'm very upset with this product and the poor customer service. Buyer BEWARE!!!!

Purchased this product after having my hair steamed at a salon. The steamer worked just as well as the salons. I am able to steam my hair every two weeks, it comes out very shiny and soft. People have remarked how nice my hair looks. Definitely worth the money and the facial steamer is a added plus.

Initially when I got this product I had a lot of trouble assembling it. The instructions were very vague to say the least. After assembling it and taking it apart 3 times I finally got it to work right. I turned it on, put in some distilled water with a pinch of salt and let it do it's thing! Man, that stuff really get hot! I immediately felt a difference in my hair after one treatment! After all the hassle I went through with this product I can now say it's worth it. I just wished the company would have more precise instructions on how to assemble the product. It's really good for home use because it's compact and does not take up alot of space.

This is a poor replacement for the steamer on the stand. It comes in many pieces and if you don't have room to store it put together then you will have to take it apart every time you use it. It does help conditioners and oil treatments penetrate the scalp. It decreases processing time but they need to make the bonnett one piece because this bonnett come into pieces. It is just poorly designed.

This product is absolutely not worth the money. The hood part of it is made up of several fragile (Cheap plastic)bits which you have to attach to the centre and brackets to form the hood. These brackets do not fit perfectly together which means, it could be very tricky when the steam starts coming through. The plastic is not durable and I do not anticipate this product lasting long.
The unit where the water is poured into has no covering whatsoever and this could be a danger in itself when using this product as if you were to move accidentally against it, the water (which is hot) would spill. If you have kids then I would say this product is a definite no, no. If you do not have kids, this product is still not worth the price!

This is a great product!!!! I can understand what some others have said about the bonnet, but hey, it beats what we had before for home use, which is nothing, or at best microwaving a wet towel and wrapping your head, that's a pain. Give it time, progression will come. Remember the first car? So let's stop complaining. But on to the steamer itself;LOVE IT.

CONVENIENCE - I can steam when I want or need to
PRICE - I'd rather pay once and get more than multiple uses than to keep going to the salon and waiting my turn.
USAGE - It fits great on my vanity in my bathroom; add water and sit my little self under the bonnet with my book
CHILD SAFETY - I have a 3 year old, so just like I tell him not to touch the stove, he knows that the steamer gets hot and he shouldn't touch, but generally he's sleep when I'm using it.
STORAGE - Easy to remove the hood (in tact I might add) and place on the top shelf so it's not stepped on, pour out the water and set the cup and the unit under the bathroom cabinet until next time.
Versatility - The facial jet steamer is really cool too.
THE COMPANY - I had to call the company, but the best thing is that someone very friendly picked up and answered my question. I actually spoke to a human. That's Great!

It used it 4 times and I liked it, now it starts and make a noise and it stops. Waste if money. I saw the good review and thought it was good product.

After the first use my hair feels so much bettter. It doesn't get as frizzy or dry and hard as it use to. I recommend this to anyone that is looking for a better way to deep condition their hair.

Thanks to Amazon.com for finding this amazing hair steamer product! The hair steamer is extremely easy to use and convenient. The moisturized heat can saturate the henna so that the hair feels soft and silky. I left it on for ten minutes and it works. I think if I use it twenty minutes next time (I have long hair) it would probably work better. If the cap design changes into one piece, I would give 5 stars rating. I highly recommend it.

i am extremely happy with my steamer, and can not wait to inform other people of my new found love for the hair steamer and henna treatment, it made my hair much more manageable and as well as provided an amazing shine to my hair. now, i have to send my huge giant away that way i can save some space. I like the lightweight and space saver design, and facial steamer features too, i'm lovin' it!!!
