5.0 out of 5 stars good fun
I'm not sure why I bought this book, but for some reason I did. These books seem to be for kids, but they have huge amounts of adult appeal as well. Look at the card in the back you can send away to get the catalogue. It has two age categories: "I am a kid and was born in the year______" or "According to my birth certificate I am an adult but I deny...

3.0 out of 5 stars Hair Wraps
Hair Wraps. This is a great kit for girls to learn to wrap hair, but if you're a grown up and you want to do it, it's very hard, especially if you have problems with your hands and doing small things. I think it's great for teen girls.

I'm not sure why I bought this book, but for some reason I did. These books seem to be for kids, but they have huge amounts of adult appeal as well. Look at the card in the back you can send away to get the catalogue. It has two age categories: "I am a kid and was born in the year______" or "According to my birth certificate I am an adult but I deny it!". Well, I must fall in the second category. Imagine two grown ups wrapping each other's hair in embroidery floss--sounds silly, but we had a blast. These Klutz books are excellent, easy to follow, and fun. If you want to learn how to do something, see if there is a Klutz book about it. It'll certainly be worth your money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wanna Learn this stuff....it's the ONLY Book I've found, September 12, 1998

This is the only book I've found that teaches you how to do hair wraps...My fiance learned about it, and was actually taught how to do it at a COLLEGE level basis. Yet It was so detailed, that a elementary aged student visiting that day learned it faster then the students there.

I have read this book and although I have not done a hair wrap yet, I am a hairdresser and can tell that the directions are very easy to follow and the pictures are great of the finished product. I am very happy that I ordered this book, I would recommend this book.

I am a girl (...), and this book is great! I learned how to do many designs! I now have my own hair wrap business and do hair wraps at craft fairs! I also have the Quick Wrap from Conair. I make over 20$ a day doing hair wraps! it is great!

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to Learn - Tons of Fun!, January 3, 2011
This review is from: Hair Wraps (Klutz S.) (Spiral-bound)
I got this book for my 10yo daughter for Christmas. We tried the basic wrap as our first test and I am amazed at how simple it was and how great it came out looking for the first try. My daughter said her friend has a machine but this book allows you to learn how to make patterns like a woven wrap, spiral wrap and rope wraps. I don't think you can get those looks from the machine. It's also nice to sit and work on with her for the 15 minutes it takes to wrap. I'm excited to try more styles with her in the coming weeks.

This is exaclty what you would expect frm a klutz book. Easy to follow concise instructions. Easy instructions and easy to do are not the same thing, this is a very time consuming activity. It takes a bit to get the hang of it and then a good little bit of time to do the entire wrap. Granted my girls have very, very long hair. If the idea looks fun to you then you will like the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super Fun, December 4, 2011
This review is from: Hair Wraps (Klutz S.) (Spiral-bound)
I remember a friend gave this to me as a birthday gift some 10+ years ago and I use to beg my mom to do it for me all the time. They look cute and cool and are super fun. A really great gift for ANYONE who's into crafts or hair accessories. I was really excited to find this kit, because Klutz doesn't sell it on their website anymore and I can't find it in stores.
