Directions
To turn on the LaserComb press the "power" button and then the "laser" button on the front of the unit. Next, place the LaserComb flat on your head using the two rows of teeth. Rather than constantly moving the LaserComb through your hair (as you would with a regular brush or comb), you will use what we like to call the "glide" method by placing the LaserComb on a specific spot on your head and gently gliding it back each time the audible four-second beep occurs. Move from the front of your hairline to the back of your head, then repeat the process moving in the opposite direction. The "glide" method is the best way to ensure that the LaserComb will be as effective as possible for you. We recommend that the LaserComb be used 3 times per week, 10-15 minutes per treatment for optimal results. We do recommend that you use the LaserComb on a clean scalp so that the laser can effectively improve the appearance of your hair without being hindered by oils, dandruff, etc. The reason for this is to prevent product buildup from blocking the laser light. However, you can also address this by cleaning your LaserComb with a damp cloth before and after each use.

The HairMax LaserComb seems to be working, so I am very pleased with the product. Within 5 months my hair has doubled in thickness. With short hair it doesn't take but about 10 minutes of time.

Works! Regrowth on Crown and Front; 10 months and going ...,

I used the cordless HairMax for about 10 months and I have seen fantastic results. I'm 28 y.o male with a balding crown and receding hair line. I used it about 3-4 times a week for 1 hour each time. I didn't start noticing a difference until 4-5 months, but it was a big difference. The crown hair is THICKER; regrowth of hair in the front. I see that others have given it a bad review, they probably were expecting full regrowth. It takes time! It took me probably 3 months before I notice anything. The first thing I notice was just general thickness of the hair. After 6 months, I could see more hair with the mirror. Then my friend started saying that the front was regrowing. I can see new hairs growing. I recently started losing hair about 2 years ago, so it might be that I am a recent hair loss candidate which made it easier for me to recover.

I had a hairmax for three years. Can't say if it really worked or not, but I figured I'd use it. I used it while I watched TV, so it didn't take up any time. I had a better safe than sorry attitude. The unit stopped working after 3 years. The brochure stated a 10-15 year life. The company was not responsive. It is not worth $500 for only three years. If you are go ing to buy a laser comb, choose a different company.
