4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad March 11, 2013
By Paul M
Several of the ingredients listed in the Hairomega pills aren't effective, but those that are do make a difference. Some ingredients that seem to be common in hair-loss reversal or stopping include the green tea extract, nettle extract, and saw palmetto. I've been taking this particular brand for about 4 months now. There has been a noticable change in my hair's consistency as well as a lessening of loss.

I've not seen any negative side effects, but coincidentally I have noticed some change in my nail strength and skin elasticity. The best results will come when you use it in conjunction with a whole routine. This should include proper diet and other vitamin intake. A hair-restoration shampoo isn't a bad idea too. I personally found the best results for my hair growth came when following strict diet, taking the hairomega, and also using something called hair growth essentials (Hair Growth Essentials + FREE Maximum Strength Biotin Tablets) because the folic acid in that particular supplement seems to really have a profound effect. I've been on the essentials and hairomega for 1 month with the best results I've had thusfar.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works so far but NOT a magic pill April 11, 2012

The ingredients are great.

It has all the essential nutrients to support healthy hair growth such as saw palmetto, pumpin seed, green tea, nettle extract etc...

and it has a good blend for DHT blocker.

I've been taking this for the past 3 months and noticed that my hair feels stronger and my hair loss significantly slowed down.

The 4 star is due to many of these ingredients are not easily absorbed or "bio-available" to our system so it is more for marketing purposes. However, the ingredients that are absorb into the body does help with my hair loss.

I recommend this product because it has no side effects and also seem to boost my energy level. Unlike Propecia, which I do not recommend any "Man" to use, has a plethora of nasty side effects that I wouldn't want to name.

In summary, this is not a magic pill. Alone, this might not help you but in combination with other products, it is effective.

That's why I use what many call a triple therapy.

1. A healthy diet and supplements like this one Hairomega 3-in-1

2. Use Rogaine for Men Hair Regrowth Treatment

3. Use an Organic Hair Loss Treatment Shampoo

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Hair Vitamin-Type Product Ever! October 9, 2011

Super Great product! I also never have time to put into posting reviews. However, I wanted to take the time to post this one because I thought it might really help others struggling with hair loss and/or thinning hair.

I noticed within a short time after using Maxihair that my hair appeared fuller. I have used the product for 6 months now and can say that this product seems to directly impact hair fullness. I think what is happening is that where I already have hair, that more hair is growing in. The problem is that I am trying to have hair regrow near the forehead and temples where I have hair loss (due to hairdressers on two occasions washing out hair color with very hot or scalding water - Keune color is awful - burns and makes your scalp sensitive to water temperature too). So I am afraid the roots and hair follicles have been damaged too much for regrowth. However, I have noticed some small hairs regrowing near those areas, and naturally I am hoping for more. I also religiously take one Maxihair pill per day, and I try to remember to take 2 (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). With my latest order today, I am going to try to take 3 and see if I can get even better results.

I also was advised by my doctor to take Omega 3-6-9 for improved overall health, since I am in menopause, and I also try to remember to supplement with additional Source Naturals Pure Inositol Powder (1/4 teaspoon a day). Just to make a point though, I noticed a distinct improvement just with taking Maxihair, before I took anything else, so I am sure that the Maxihair is great all by itself.

Two other things of note - I am a teacher and am working another part-time job cause my husband lost his job, and I always struggle with having enough energy and also getting sick from working too hard. Well, the Maxihair is also helping by increasing my energy level and stamina. After all, there are numerous vitamins in Maxihair, which seem to be way more effective than I have experienced when taking other one-a-day type vitamin/mineral pills. The only drawback I have experienced, believe it or not, is that occasionally the pill seems to generate wacky, disturbing dreams. Perhaps it would help if I didn't take it right before I go to bed, but my schedule is so crazy, that's when I have a chance to take it (and remember to take it!)

So, as someone who has really struggled with thin hair, this pill is like magic. I will post another update after I take 3 pills a day for a while and see if I experience any better results with hair re-growth near the forehead and temple areas.

Best of luck to all of you out there!

It works great but it was super harsh on my stomach. I suppose it's all up to how badly you want your hair to grow if you are willing to take the stomach upset.
