I run a Daycare centre and I love reading books to the children, but the only book that they keep asking for 20 times a day is the Hairy Toe. The children know the words off by heart and I add a bit of noises of wind, whispering sounds etc they love it. I would highly recommend this book to any child under preschool age

I put copies of this book into party bags at my daughter's 3rd birthday and had rave reviews from all the parents. Kids that age seem to really love to be just a little bit scared!
There are some other great stories in this "Read and Share" collection, including "Handa's Surprise," "This is the Bear," and "Ten in the Bed." (I have the whole set.) |
