this is a historical album. It does a good job at representing haitian music and its true foundational identity. If you are studying haitian music, this one is for you.

Simple popular street music of Haiti. Haiti's music is somewhat different than that of the othercarib islands. Perhaps because Haiti has the first successfull slave revolt. No steel drums here. Sweet and easy.
