introduction to Haitian music, July 11, 2001

I am Haitian and I've hear my share of Haitian music. This CD has got to be among the best I've heard. It's mellow, jazzy and senual. It is an example of the unique yet diverse parts of Haitian culture. If ever you have wondered what an intimate gathering among friend on a beautiful carribean night is like wonder no more. It's this CD. Haitiando Vol 1 and 2 are both worth purchasing. If you don't know anything about Haitiam music let this CD be your introduction. If you are well versed this will be a welcomed addition to your collection.
