Product Description
Born in 1947 in Tokyo, Hajime Namiki uses traditional printmaking skills passed down over many generations to create his images of nature and myth. An underlying ground of gold or silver on handmade Torinoko paper adds to his prints' luminous quality, suggesting sunshine seen through foliage.
For several years in the 1990s, Namiki demonstrated traditional woodblock printmaking in the United States as a guest of the Wisconsin Cultural Exchange Organization. His work has hung in the White House, as well as in museum, university, and private collections.
Twenty assorted 5 x 7 inch blank notecards (5 each of 4 designs) with white envelopes in a decorative box.

These are high-quality, beautiful cards, four different beautiful prints. They have a gold, bronzy or silver sheen in places. The colors are fantastic, the pictures just serene. I gave them as a gift- the person said these were ones of which she would keep one of each just to admire.

I had high expectations when I ordered these cards as they look really beautiful on line. The picture prints on the real card, however, are a little blurry and not as vivid. The quality is all right. Yet, not the best quality that I have seen.
